Renee and his crew did a great job on the portico and other entryway issues we had. Peak Performance painted our entire home as well as replacing 3 outside doors. They were easy to work with and flexible. Always checked back with us to make sure we were happy with their work.

We began our kitchen remodel with Peak Performance and have been so pleased with how smooth they have made this process and the quality of their team’s work. We had popcorn texture and wallpaper removed, smooth skim coat applied to walls and ceiling, finished off with paint. The results are beautiful, exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend this company. Danielle & Rene are professional, educated in their field, and quick to get to work, delivering quality results. I look forward to having them complete our next project.

Renee at Peak Performance has taken excellent care of my remodeling needs. They have done extensive work on the exterior of my home as well as interior. They replaced and painted all of my facia/sofit, completely remodeled my laundry/ half bath, and replaced and painted all of my trim and doors. They also refinished my original wood floors from the 60’s and they look beautiful! He even had my gutters installed for significantly cheaper than the bigger companies for the same quality of product. I highly recommend Renee and Peak Performance for all of your home needs!!

09/2024 Rene and crew replaced my 20+ year old fence in a very timely and professional manner to my specifications. Highly recommend. Update 11/2024 Had a leak which caused considerable damage to my flooring. After months of getting nowhere with my insurance company on finding the leak let alone fixing the issue I called Rene. Peak Performance (Dani) was able to work with my insurance company and get everything replaced. Very happy with the results.

Approximately a year ago, we had a complete loss of our kitchen due to a leak, resulting in a cost nearing six figures for replacement. In searching for a company to rebuild the kitchen, we knew that we wanted a local company with good customer reviews, backed by outside professional entities that offered the assurance of excellence. At that time-about ten months ago-Peak Performance met those requirements, but no longer would. We want to pass along a transparent review of our experience so that others know some things to be aware of when hiring a construction company. The positives-subs. Always ask where subs come from, if the company uses the same subs all the time, and get verification. We were fortunate in two instances, and things turned out okay with the third entity. 1. The custom cabinet builder was skilled at his profession and did a beautiful job on numerous cabinets and drawers. 2. The crew that repaired and refinished hand-scraped hardwood floors did a good job. 3. The countertop company did not measure correctly and had to recut and reinstall one area of countertop. This error required that they purchase another slab of granite. Once this was completed, it turned out nicely. The crew was professional in the way things were done. Now for things to beware of. 1. Beware of a construction company that does not pull permits ahead of construction and does not use tradesmen when necessary. This will come back to haunt homeowners when selling their house. It could result in costly repairs and a reduction in the value of the home, at the least. Call the city and verify that permits were pulled. (Our experience was that wiring installed by a handyman had to be corrected. It took several weeks for the permit to be approved, putting the project further behind.) 2. Beware that work may stop if the person in charge leaves town without appointing someone to keep the project moving. 3. Beware of a company that seems careless. For example, it could involve hot wires exposed for weeks, or pouring brush cleaner into the landscape, or not understanding why ivory outlets do not belong on dark stained wood. 4. Beware of a construction company that makes homeowners lose trust to the point that they hire outside professionals to complete something like plumbing or gas line work. This can be especially unsettling if the one originally tagged to do the work has to "go home and read about it," before completing the work. 5. Beware of a construction company that does not understand CFM air flow, and the need to install a 48" vent over a 48" stove, rather than simply keeping the existing 36" vent. 6. Beware of a construction company whose skills do not seem to measure up to their claims. This might relate to an attempt to refinish a stained front door unsuccessfully four separate times, then agreeing to letting the homeowner find someone else. Or suggesting that it might be best to find someone else to install a backsplash because of its complicated nature. 7. Beware of a construction company that tells the homeowners that they are "picky" and "difficult" as if they shouldn’t be watching reconstruction work so closely. There must be a reason for this. 8. Beware of how insurance claims are filed, what is asked for on those claims, and to what degree any money will be used. This could mean collecting a massive amount of paper work, especially if there are change orders along the way. Be sure to verify and keep any and all paper work, communication by email or phone, along with dates and names. A homeowner cannot trust that a construction company will keep accurate records. 9. Finally, and most importantly, once homeowners have signed a contract, they must get a copy BEFORE allowing work to begin. Do not rely on a promise that a copy is forthcoming. No contract, no work. As stated above, this was our experience. Thankfully, we had the opportunity for mediation between us and Peak Performance. We were able to settle with Peak Performance, allowing us to move on with completion by another company.
