After many bad experiences with contractors I was reluctant call a plumber for what seemed to me to be a major issue. Just knew it would be another expensive hack job. Called Richardson Plumbing and David was at my door in a couple of hours. Very surprised he got there so quickly. He and Chris introduced themselves and David looked at the issue. He knew right away that it was a relatively minor issue and they set about fixing it. In no time it was fixed the right way. Both David and Chris were professional and very personable taking the time to explain exactly what the problem was and what they were going to do to repair it. David was also very good about sharing his knowledge on many things construction and plumbing related. When time to pay came I was pleasantly surprised with how affordable the repair was. Was great to have a positive experience dealing with a contractor. I will not hesitate to use Richardson Plumbing in the future and highly recommend them!

Called Mr Richardson after another plumber didn't pick up and call me back. This was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had with any plumbing company. Down to earth good guy. Knows his plumbing inside out and all the companies in the area. Been doing it a long time. We had a small leak coming from the top nipple of our water heater. Not a lot, but enough that would cause major issues later. Water heater is only 5 years old, and too soon to replace. He came out, worked it off and found how the installer didn't use any type a lubricant/plumbers putty and only hand tightened the nut to the tube. Took some info and was able to get a replacement nipple under warranty from the mfg of the water heater. On the first visit, put the nipple back on properly, and water stopped leaking. Came back less than a week later with the part and installed in little time. Great guy and company. Hopefully don't have any other issues to have to call him again. Will call him when the water heater does need replacement, as they don't last forever.

Instead of leaving us stuck, Mr. Richardson came through in the best way possible. He showed up on a Sunday—literally right after church—ready to help, and he handled everything with professionalism, kindness, and genuine care. He didn’t just fix the problem, he went the extra mile and even called the city himself to make sure the mess from the other plumber was properly cleaned up. That gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. That kind of dedication is so rare to find these days. He truly went above and beyond, and it’s clear he takes pride in his work and cares about his customers. We’re so thankful we found him, and we can honestly say we’ve found our plumber from here on out. Highly, highly recommend Mr. Richardson to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy plumber!

As the prices of everyday goods and services are rapidly increasing and the quality of the services we receive are going down in tandem - this business is an exception. He showed up within 2 hours of my call on a Sunday - we called him while he was at Church, he called us directly after and drove to our place for a free estimate. Scheduling was easy and his quote was more than reasonable. The next day he showed up and knocked out the work after tackling an earlier industrial plumbing job. The final price was right within the estimate and he kept us updated throughout the process explaining all of his findings. I can't speak highly enough of him and the work he performed. If you afraid of being taken advantage of or dealing with a disinterested amateur, I can assure you this man has been doing this for 49(!!!) years and holds a solution oriented mindset that keeps your interests and wallet at heart. Not only was he personable, he genuinely cared to explain what caused our plumbing issues at a level we understood. A+ kinda guy. Thanks again!

I called for a leaking fixture in my laundry room and David was able to fix it in a matter of minutes. I had expected to need to replace the fixture, but he was able to stop the leak on the original. He was promptly showed up in the one hour window I had scheduled. I will absolutely be calling him for any further plumbing jobs I have.

After another company tried for several hours to unclog my main line pipe, only to give me a quote for over $10,000 saying that replacing the main pipe under my house was the only option, refusing to try anything other than a snake, and wanted to charge me $655 for a drain cleaning that accomplished nothing, I called Richardson for a second opinion. Dave showed up the very next day and in less than two hours he had my drain cleared. It now drains better than it ever has in the 13 years I have lived in the house. Also he charged $170 less than the first company who gave up. Great service, would highly recommend!

I can’t speak any higher on the quality of work and care that Dave did today. Man is a workhorse and it shows. My water heater cracked in my attic and almost flooded my house. Dave came out the very next morning and diagnosed the problem. Came back a few hours later after doing another job (in this dang heat to boot) with a new water heater. Him and his buddy Chris got that new water up three stories and up in running by the afternoon. Dave and Chris are just all around good guys and provide professional grade work for an honest and fair price and I wouldn’t mind cracking a few cold beers with! They have a customer for life here.
