Earlier this year I heard those words that no one wants to hear about their 7 year old house. "Your stairs are sinking " I noticed the cracks but believed it was normal settling. Joe with Mint Engineers came out and introduced me to some unfamiliar words. Helical Piers and Angle Irons. In hunting for just the right company to help I chose Moisture Loc. Dan was always available to answer all my questions and REPEATED phone calls. Jerry did an amazing job placing the piers and worked extremely hard to make them as invisible as possible, letting me know he was treated my house as he would his own. Next Jeremy who was the brick mason arrived for tuck-pointing mortar and crack repair. A true artist. Even though I knew exactly where the cracks were I could barely find them. Moisture Loc and their crew were truly amazing. Those stairs will outlive me. I couldn’t be happier with the completed project. Thanks to all for your hard work.

I had three companies come out to give me estimates for encapsulation of my crawlspace. The MoistureLoc representative spent more than an hour completing the inspection/assessment of my property. Carlos Juez was him name and highly recommended you request him to do yours. You will be impressed, more importantly he won't miss anything. Mositureloc finished my job today. I am 100% satisfied with the professionalism of the work crew. They were punctual and thorough throughout the project. I would definitely recommend them to you.

What a refreshing experience to have everything the salesman promised to come true 100%. Carlos Juez spent the time to educate us on crawl space encapsulation, what is needed in our home vs what a neighbor might need, explained the entire process, what to expect and answered all the questions we had. The photo documentation and report he completed was very detailed and thorough. He is definitely knowledgeable on crawlspaces. Highly recommend. The installation crew was excellent, definite attention to detail. If we ever move, I know who to call for our next crawl encapsulation!

Everyone I worked with at MoistureLoc was amazing. Carlos came out and explained the whole process. He was very detailed and professional. He provided a rendering and details on all the steps / products. Greg kept me up to date on when the team would be arriving. He even worked around my schedule. James kept us up to date on the progress and his team did a great job preforming the work. Everything was done with care. We can tell a HUGE difference in our house. The humidity went from 90% to 55% (or less) in our house. Having our crawlspace encapsulated has been living changing.

(Update: September 9, 2025) Our updated French drains and gravity drain have been installed by another reputable, hard working team from Moisture Loc. They were very professional, careful to listen to our concerns on our drain field and underground cables, arriving on time, getting the work completed in a timely fashion, making sure that the worksite was cleaned up before they left. Work quality was inspected by James, the supervisor, who is VERY knowledgeable and professional. Another outstanding job completed by Moisture Loc. We couldn’t be happier! Our neighbors are impressed as well. ( January 2025) Do your research, if you will, but start at Moisture Loc because you will not have to go any further. Moisture Loc is a fabulous company that is made up of people who are conscientious, skilled, hard-working, communicative, and take pride in their work. It is smaller than some, which is what we were looking for, feeling that the work quality would be better than with a larger company. They follow through with their commitments and their schedule is like clockwork. The cost of the work we had done was itemized and clear from the very beginning as well as reasonable. There were no hidden costs. We have recommended Moisture Loc to two of our friends and would recommend them to anyone that asked. Both friends have gone with encapsulation; one job in progress, one completed. Both are exceptionally happy with the company. Even the county inspector commented on the exceedingly high-quality of the work done at our house. Our initial contact was Walt, who gave a very detailed diagram with written explanations of the foundation repair that we needed. (We had his recommendations, checked by a building contractor friend of ours, who was in total agreement with him). James was our inspector for the entire project. As promised he was there at both the beginning and after the work had been completed to make sure things had been done correctly. Marlon was the crew foreman who oversaw the work as it was being done. All three men were accessible, extremely professional, and proficient in their areas of expertise.. There were different crews that specialized in the various aspects of the work being done. Everyone was friendly, professional, hard-working, and efficient.. Our floors no longer squeak and sag after the piers were installed, the rooms no longer smell like mold, the house is much warmer (cooler in the warm months) with the new insulation, and the moisture barrier is doing its job of keeping out any dampness. The team left the yard in excellent shape as well. We feel like we have a brand new house! We are now (August 2025) adding an upgrade to our system, and we are once again using Moisture Loc because we trust them and the work that they do. Carlos was our initial contact this time. He is professional, not at all high pressure, and very thorough. He was clear about the issues that he was addressing as we explored different options and possibilities. He was open to hearing suggestions, and making sure that the best plan was put forward to meet our needs. Moisture Loc has 0 complaints with the Better Business Bureau. The number of complaints is the number to look at. It has an A+ rating. (Many companies have a A+ rating but with many complaints.) They have been in their family business operations for 37 years. It is an amazing company! Moisture Loc is everything a business should be . . .and more.

We had a truly outstanding and flawless experience with Moisture Loc! We worked with Carlos Juez who explained everything well, was very easy to reach, and worked with us to optimize the plan and the cost. The project manager was James Hageman, also a pleasure to work with. Giovani was the head of the crew, including three of his assistants. They did exactly what we were told they would do, and the final product was immaculate. Carlos and I crawled on our hands and knees to inspect the finished work and it was all done perfectly. I would unconditionally recommend them and will definitely use them for any future needs.
