José Martínez and his crew did a great job cleaning the crawl space, replacing a beam and joists, and encapsulating the crawl space. They got a lot of work done well! They were friendly and professional!

Edgar and his team were great in the aspect of getting my basement waterproofed better by coming out a second time in a month by inserting a drain by my garage door that was allowing a lot of water into my basement. Edgar and his team’s work looks vastly different from the work I had done previously a month ago. Their work looks professional. The work from a month ago looks botched and… not professional. I’ve attached photos. The company itself I’m not overly impressed with. I specifically asked for the sump pump and everything that needed to be done right the first time around so that I could avoid having water come into my basement, and not have to have then come out a second time. The first big rain a week or two after the sump pump was installed there was some water that came into my basement. The second rain there was a lot of water that came in, and to find out it came from the garage door too. I told them I want sure water was coming in through the garage door or not. I live in a 60 year old house in a hill, and with all of the water coming in, I wasn’t completely sure which parts of the Basement it was all coming from, just the parts I observed since living here. I was told I was going to need an additional sump pump, but luckily after today’s work, Edgar mentioned that it was not needed and is going to let the office know. I’ve seen a lot of pictures of finished sump pumps and French drains and there’s a lot of holes that are huge in my walls and the floor looks rushed- I’m not ha with the company that charged me the most. I don’t know if this is what it’s actually supposed to look like, but it really looks bad. I feel like I should have just took the $1200 loss from when I was originally going to go with them and went with a different company. I feel like I over paid and didn’t get the service I should have gotten. So, 5 stars for Edgar and his team not so much for the company.

Making an appt was easy. Received packet with some info including the name, pic, & contact info of my design specialist. Marcus called two days ahead to confirm appt & called 30 minutes prior to his arrival. He was right on time. He was very thorough the whole time. He asked about my concerns, went under the house, then came in & explained everything. He was clear & easy to understand. He explained all the repairs that were needed & the way they would be handled. He made sure I understood what he said & asked if I had questions before moving on to the next topic. The entire appt was easy even the explanation of costs. He answered every question I had. I was very comfortable accepting the contract to have the work done. Based on just the appt, I highly recommend Cantey

Cantey Foundation Specialists came highly recommended by another contractor, and now I know why. We have been 100% satisfied from beginning to end. Throughout this project, we encountered employees who are obviously committed to having an unmatched superior level of professionalism, integrity, and strong work ethic. This home required much more prep work than usual, needing extensive wooden beam and sister joists replacements. The project supervisor, Mr. R., maintained thorough communication to describe and show the progress, then would discuss (when necessary) the next steps planned for going forward. Mr. R., and his crew paid close attention to every detail during their work on this encapsulation project. They and the entire Cantey team have set the industry standard bar high and exceeded our expectations. Well done!
