Dawson Foundation Repair

I've had Dawson work on my foundation twice. The first time they put piers down the north end of my house and then a few years later I needed some piers on the west side of my patio. Both times were good experiences and I would recommend them to other homeowners needing foundation repair.

Really appreciate Dawson Foundation coming out in this heat to assess our home. In the end they said we didn't really need any foundation fixes and gave us information on how to protect our foundation with watering and noting which areas to keep an eye out for in the future. It's rare to find friendly and honest contractors so I definitely recommend them and they'll be the first call if we ever need foundation work later.

Foundation repair firms recently visited my Sugar Land home and Dawson Foundation Repair left the best impression. The owners, Martin and Sean Dason, arrived on time, listened to my concerns, visually inspected mine and adjacent lots, took elevation readings and presented their conclusions efficiently. They were focused on identifying specific causes of the measurements and potential actions to address them. There was no sales pressure, but simply a sincere desire to understand existing conditions and define the best course of action. They provided a list of preventative actions to take, before initiating any foundation work. If the situation arises to assess my foundation in the future, I will forgo soliciting multiple contractors and contact Dawson Foundation Repair solely. Martin and Sean convinced me they can identify the causes and provide a successful solution.

I contacted Dawson Foundation Repair because they had worked on our house before we purchased it 20 years ago and I was looking to value the house. Martin and Shane came by, with the original drawings, (which I had lost), and inspected the house. The last time they touched this house was 27 years ago. Today, the foundation is still within specifications. Through flood, drought and any number of storms and hurricanes their work has stood the test of time. They also took the time to explain why I was seeing some cosmetic settling issues with the house, (under slab plumbing repairs performed by another company), and to assure me that the issues were purely cosmetic. I had planned for some unpleasant news and a hefty price tag. None of that. A minimal cost to bring the warranty up to date. This is a professional company, selling a great product, implemented with excellent service. I am very grateful that the previous owners of this house chose Dawson Foundation Repair.

Martin Dawson is absolutely great! He thoroughly inspected my house and even gave me suggestions to prevent future cracks. He was not pushy or try to sell me on repairs I did not need. I don't think I have had a more knowledgeable person about homes in general than Martin. I would highly recommend Dawson Foundation Repair!!

Dawson was very thorough and professional. We appreciate all the information they provided on their process, and we have great assurance that Dawson's work will stand the test of time. Dawson was highly sensitive to the fact that we have 3 young kids. They took the necessary steps to ensure our home was safe and clean and they also completed their work on time. We also had a good experience with Esteban at Artistic Floors, whom Dawson referred us to. We chose laminate floors but most people think they are hardwoods.

I had just bought an old house which had a crack in the garage floor and in a bathroom floor. I wanted to renovate and rent out the place. I believed the house needed foundation repairs. I called this company and they send out a gentleman named Ed Th…., he came in, first examined all the interior doors, then with his electronic device, he made some elevation measurements and at the end, he told me the house has had 0.9 inches of settlements in one side quite some time ago. All doors are functioning properly and the foundation seems to have been stable since then. He said the house is not getting worse and since the settlement is not too bad, it seems not to need foundation repair; of course they would do it if I really want to do it. This professionalism and honesty was indeed admired and appreciated.
