We had a wonderful experience using CT Dry Basements to install a new basement door and resolve longstanding water problems in our 200+ year old home. Sumps and sump pumps are essential equipment for areas with a shallow water table. As a licensed environmental professional, I can tell you that the damage done by hydrostatic pressure to basement floor slabs is expensive to repair; especially in a finished basement. There are other applications that require the type of water table control that only a well-installed sump and sump pump can provide. Connecticut Dry Basements provided a very competitive detailed quote, on-time installer arrival, provided flooring protection between the sump location and egress, left a clean work area and egress area, tested the sump pump and discharge for proper operation, and removed all construction materials from the premises. I can't say enough about how smart to deal with THIS company for crawlspace encapsulation. I'd bought a small house in the woods. Hired one company to clean out old insulation, exterminate and line the space. That was back in July 2024 and I'm still digging out the mess they made. CT Dry Basements came in to do the really good work of getting the crawlspace cleaned up, lined properly and it's a whole new house! I am so happy with this company. Not only did it literally transform the space, the crew that showed up to do it was organized, friendly, and worked very fast. Excellent work, excellent results, easy to deal with, and excellent pricing in terms of all area competitors. Just hire this company if you are in need of a crawlspace rehab.

This is our second experience with CT Dry Basements and both have been fantastic. This job was a encapsulation/insulation of our crawl space (and we ended up having a water issue as well that needed sump pumps). The teams that did the work were very professional, went out of their way to make sure they did not make a mess and did an absolutely fantastic job in the crawl space. Could not be happier- we now have a much warmer floor and the crawl space is neat and clean! Thanks for everything!

The 6 - 7 men work crew just left after completing what was supposed to be a 3 day job in 2 days. The work crew was incredibly hard working, courteous and efficient. Left our property without any debris or trash anywhere. CT Dry Basements was the third company we contacted to propose a solution to our issues—this company offered a much more customized approach to our unique needs. Hey—dealing with water seepage in an old stone house foundation is not an easy nor inexpensive task. But the price was fair (based on other comparisons) and we dealt with the owner of the company (not a salesman). So far, very pleased with the quality of work.

Very upset .. before I purchased my home the previous owner hired CDB to come out and waterproof the basement, they installed the cheapest sump pumps they could find and installed a flat drain on a hill in my backyard so the water comes right back into my house. I’ve contacted them several time to come out and fix the issues but they never show up. I had to call the local fire department to help drain the water from my backyard and they expressed no matter how much water they pump it will just come back. Thanks CDB for this horrible nightmare you’ve caused my family and I. I do not recommend this company at all !!!
