Sapphire Electric

I contacted Sapphire Electric because I was experiencing some odd issues with my house's lights randomly dimming. My house is 100 years old, so I always assume the worst-case scenario. Sapphire picked up the phone right away and scheduled an electrician to look at my problem the same week. The tech, Shawn, was very professional and diagnosed the cause within 30 minutes. He did a great job of explaining the issue and what may have caused it. He provided a quote on the spot and explained every line item for me. The following week, Shawn came out to complete the work, and it fixed more issues that I didn't even know I had! He walked through the work he did and we tested everything to make sure I was happy. I would highly recommend Sapphire Electric to anyone that is looking for a responsive, professional, and fair electrical contractor! Thank you!

Replaced a ton of light switches with modern, but fussy, ones and upgraded our two Nest thermostats. Always great communication and wonderful service. There was a minor issue with one of the light switches, and they came back to fix it at no charge. Would definitely recommend.

Sapphire Electric is by far the most professional and competent group of electricians I have ever dealt with. Their service is exceptional, they've truly gone above and beyond for me. These are craftsmen that are proud of their work, and stand behind it. No job too big or too small, I've had them out for everything from replacing outlets to a total rewiring job after we discovered the entire kitchen was still on a single circuit. Could not recommend highly enough, they are my go to for anything electric.

Scheduling, communication, level of knowledge, and quality of the work was superb. Shawn was so kind, really neat, and patient with the explanations of what was done and why. I didn’t get the scheduler’s name but he was also so lovely. Electrical work is something you don’t want to skimp on - so I’d pay the premium price for high quality work and the excellent service and attention to detail.

Sapphire's experienced electrician was great! Very knowledgeable and gave clear explanations of what he was checking and seeing. His diagnosis was correct; we had a problem at the pole which is ComEd's responsibility. He was able to get a truck from Comed within about 12 hours to fix the connection. Sean was very polite and cordial. I highly recommend Sapphire.

I was having electrical issues and needed an electrician. I contacted Sapphire Electric because I read their reviews. I am happy I did, not only the best electrician I've hired, but one of the best professional services I've hired! Extremely professional and courteous. Most importantly they were on time and worked quickly. The electrician took the time to explain and show any fixes or issues they discovered. I own other properties in Chicago and I will be using them for all my electrical work.

Shawn did a fantastic job and was amazing to work with! He was able to assess the full scope of the damage including the source of what lead to the issue. His repairs were creative and highly adaptable to custom setups which helped ensure that the final fix was optically good as new, restored all functions and prevented any future issues down the line. Sapphire Electric is also a very reputable company making any arrangements with the insurance company seamless. I highly reccommend this service!
