We reached out to Empire Electric for a consultation/evaluation of a historic home we were under contract on. Dave Thompson called us quickly and thoroughly reviewed our home inspectors finding regarding the electric. He was so helpful and informative. He really helped us understand what we were looking at in terms of cost and time. He even followed up with emails. There was no charge for this and we are so appreciate of his time. We will definitely use Empire Electric for all of our electric needs!

I returned from an extended trip at 01:00 to find the power for the garage had failed. That included not only the garage door but the internet router which is located in the garage. I called Empire Electric Inc of Jacksonville early the next day and they could not have been more helpful, dispatching two electricians that same morning. It required two trips out to my location because the fault was in the lanai, at the back of the house. Who knew? Not me for sure! Empire’s electricians were helpful, friendly, courteous and most importantly of all, professional. I absolutely recommend them to anyone in the Jacksonville area requiring electrical assistance.

Sean R was great to work with. He was within the scheduled time frame, communicated when he was en route, arrived in the time he promised, finished the job efficiently, communicated everything he was going to do and then continued communicating what he was doing, ensured he left no mess or trash behind, answered all of my questions, ensured I knew how to properly operate my new wall charger, and told me what to expect for next steps (permit inspection, etc.). The only snafu I had with Empire Electric was that I had originally reached out via their site and never heard from them so I called and left a voicemail weeks later and then they called back and got the ball rolling. They were able to come out within a couple days of my call and completed the work in one go. They also stuck to the price they'd quoted me, so it was nice not to have a surprise price increase. Sean's work was appreciated enough for me to overlook the outreach snafu and restore a 5-star rating. 100% intend on using Empire Electric for any electrical services I need here in Jacksonville, FL.
