Used Alex Electric as a recommendation from my realtor. This review is on pricing. They did the job as promised. We were quoted one price and billed another. We were also charged for additional labor that was not necessary. The job was replacing a fuse that we supplied-2.25 hours of labor? Called to remedy - no return call.

I initially had a good experience with this company, but unfortunately, things have gone downhill. While the first visit went well, their approach to scheduling is frustrating—they send whichever technicians are available, usually in teams of two or three, and charge separately for each by the hour, even when one tech just observes the other working. I needed their help again to fix a flickering light fixture that was randomly turning off. They sent different technicians who spent about two hours trying to fix it, and while the light stayed on briefly, it started flickering again shortly after they left. I called them back, and the same techs returned, spending another two hours on the issue. Unfortunately, not only did the flickering persist, but the lamp eventually stopped working altogether. Despite charging me for both days, the issue remains unresolved. I’ve reached out multiple times by phone and email, even sending videos of the ongoing problem, but there’s been no resolution—just repeated invoices. I'm paying what they billed, but I won't be using their services again and cannot recommend them to others.

I was referred to Alex Electric by my pool builder to upgrade my electrical service, change out breaker panel and put all electrical underground. Alex provided a very competitive quote, quickly pulled permits and delivered an excellent final product. I have used Alex Electric at least 8 times in the last year and am happy to finally have a reliable, professional electrician. I highly recommend Alex Electric.
