TAG MECHANICAL

We have a 22K commercial generator installed by Tag. It didn't run the last power outage. I called Tag three times and got an answering service even during the day. Each time a message was forwarded to the office. They never called us back. I found another company by referral who came out and found a ton of major installation problems, shorted wires and missing fuses. The battery warmer was continually on and cooked the battery. It wasn't wired right and the battery never charged and eventually died. We had regular oil changes when we could get them out there. All since 2014. The tech never noticed the battery voltage was slowly getting lower. We still have major costs in getting this generator running properly. If you are lucky enough to get these people on the phone, Please do not hire them. Due to the bad installation, none of this is covered under the 5 year warranty we received with the unit.

We had a Geo-thermal heating and cooling system installed in our home about 5 years ago. What a difference it made!! We're saving an average of 650 per month in the winter! The staff at Tag Mechanical was the best! Always on time, always clean, respectful and they went way above and beyond in terms of answering all our questions and going the extra mile on installation. We also had a Generac standby generator installed about a year ago. Again, Tag's installers were on time, no muss no fuss, just a great 22KW generator that runs the whole house including our geo-unit. We've had Tag back for a new hybrid water heater and service maintenance calls too. Always the best people. Their electrician Chad did a great job. I recommend Tag Mechanical for just about everything, plumbing, heating, electrical. You just can't beat Tag!

While at the home show this weekend, I saw the nicely done booth that Tag had. It was then I remembered I forgot to send a MUCH APPRECIATED thank you. I called Tag when my furnace was not working. This was during one of the bitter cold snowy days, they were very busy and it would be awhile before someone would be able to get to me. This was according to Dave, when I was transferred to the service department. He advised me of the charge to come out and check my furnace, as I recall I was rather upset that I didn't have heat and that I was going to have to spend a lot of money and hoping my pipes were not going to freeze. He asked me questions about my thermostat, he then ask me to go to the basement, instructed me to turn the furnace off and then on by the switch. He asked me questions of what I was hearing and seeing and eventually had me go out to the white pipes outside of my house. The pipe had snow and ice build up all around it, he had me remove the snow and ice, after that the furnace came on and ran and I got my heat back. I would recommend anyone with furnace issues to definitely call Tag and speak with Dave. Even though I was panicking and upset, he was very was professional and able to keep focused and help me resolve my problem. Thank you again!

Tom K and Tim did an amazing job with my generator maintenance. They called before they came and showed up on time. Where very thorough and went over everything with me. Tag Mechanical is lucky to have such wonderful employees.

Once I contacted TAG they were prompt to return my phone call and I had an appointment the next day. Not only was the technician (Gregg) helpful and polite he was also very informative. He assessed and fixed the problem I was having with my gas water heater but also answered all my questions and was so patient. I HIGHLY recommend Gregg and TAG Mechanical Systems! I will certainly be calling them again.

Generator Installation: Jake and his crew did a very professional installation. They took the time to make the plumbing & electrical connections neat & precise. Upon finishing the installation, he explained the system thoroughly, and demonstrated the control procedures and the procedure for changing the oil, filters & spark plug. I would recommend him highly.
