Our condo building contracted Southpaw to replace outdated electrical panels in various units throughout the condo - roughly 25 units, I believe. The replacement was to be an easy task and no indication was made on behalf of this company that a large unsightly hole(s) would be left behind upon completion. When we contacted them to have this fixed, their response was this wasn’t included in the quote and our only recourse was to use their preferred vendor that would thus charge $500 or more to patch the wall where the panel was replaced. Well, they didn’t do this to just our unit but multiple units throughout the building. The biggest issue we have with them is they are about to get a $300k++ project from our condo association to have all the electrical panels in the main building replaced and they are being petty with a small portion of something they should be taking care of to begin with. If we are having issues with individual units, what’s to say something larger will be come an issue when the whole project gets under way?? I don’t know if anyone else has had this issue with this company, but I would make sure you get everything in writing before contracting them to do any electrical project for you.

I used Southpaw Electric while making repairs to a home I was selling. The employees were courteous and helpful, the work was well done. I would have given this 5 stars were it. It for several communication issues which resulted in a technician not arriving when scheduled and having to be rescheduled. Then one item was missed and they had to come back out. Outside of this hiccup I was quite happy with the experience.

Ryan and Drew knew exactly what to do on a difficult panel replacement. Very professional work. Arrived on time, worked straight for 3-hours, and did a nice clean up. Communications and scheduling with Heather were promptly addressed. We will be using Southpaw for our other properties in the future. Thank you Southpaw

I am so impressed with the employees of Southpaw Electric. I have worked with many contractors and electricians over the years doing remodels. The team at Southpaw is top notch! Noah and Gary worked on two different projects at my house. They showed up on time, were professional, very knowledgeable, hard working, and cleaned up after themselves. Miranda in the office was also very accommodating and professional in scheduling the day/times and followed up in a timely manner. My overall experience was extremely positive! I highly recommend Southpaw Electric!

South Paw Electric runs a great company! I have had them to our house several times and always been very happy with both my electrician and the job done. They were patient with me and my "ideas" and ultimately did exactly what I asked for. Best of all, they didn't leave a mess behind them as other companies have done in the past. Trevor, the owner was very professional to deal with. I highly recommend South Paw Electric!

Disappointed w/ the level of communication specific to the work (most of the work was charged as discovery of the problem) and after fixing one problem they has to come back the next day and fix another problem that previously did not exist; but was charged for both days. Fixed one buried junction box and replaced one dimmer switch for $1,655 and then was told by owner that this was a reasonable amount. Disappointed.
