I just have to give a HUGE shoutout to American Heating & Cooling off of Red Bank. We just moved into our house a few months ago and had a routine maintenance check on our boiler. A company came and did the maintenance check and told us that our CO levels were dangerously high so we absolutely flipped out, turned our heat off for 3 days, and started getting quotes for new boilers. The company that told us we needed a new boiler quoted us $20,000 which made my head spin off my literal body. Luckily, I found some people in my area recommended American. They came and took a look at our boiler, walked me through every step they were doing, and showed me the CO readings after doing a little more cleaning and we were totally in the safe zone. American could not have been more transparent and honest with us. They could have easily made $10k off us for a new boiler since we were told we needed a new one…but they didn’t take advantage of us and helped us fix the problem instead of sell us something we didn’t quite need yet. ANYWAYS! Couldn’t be happier with their service and kindness and I hope if anyone needs help with their AC in the spring or heat this winter - you call them!

BE AWARE - Service Quality Dropped a Lot!! I am their customer for more than 2 years with an active maintenance agreement. They have always been great, until now. The company is down-sizing so their reaction time is very long. Service is getting poor which is unfortunate, as they were always great. I asked them to come recently to check my ACs that are not working properly and my house is HOT. When they came, they said there were a few things to do, mainly from an insulation standpoint which would be covered through my agreement. surprisingly, they called me on the following day saying they were fully booked and would not be able to get me in the schedule, suggesting me to find a different company. This was not the professional experience I expected from American Heating and I got SO frustrated that I am canceling my agreement with them and finding someone else.

We recently had an issue with our HVAC thermostat tripping & constantly rebooting itself. As this happened in August in the Cincinnati heat we were in deep trouble without a working AC unit! I called American, who answered right away & scheduled an inspection later that same afternoon. In less than one hour later the technician (Jim) arrived to our home and got our unit back up and running in less than 30 mins. The service was top notch & the technician did an amazing job! Our problem was due to a faulty condensate pump float causing the thermostat to trip off intermittently. Jim offered me some training on how to perform maintenance on the pump and also explained some of the various settings & programs in the thermostat panel. Highly recommended! A+++

American Heating and Air did an excellent job with our new AC installation. From the initial call to quote, installation, and support for inspection, American was very professional, courteous, and responsive to any questions. Special call out to Mike R and installers Schon and Trevor. Their work was top-notch - even the inspector commented on the quality of the install. I highly recommend their services.

We recently had American Heating & Air come out and replace our central air conditioning. Greg came out and gave us a quote and was very straightforward and honest. They were able to get us scheduled within a few days and the installers were fantastic. Each of them wore shoe covers inside our home and showed up on time and had the entire job wrapped up in a few hours. Our new A/C is significantly quieter and pumps out ice cold air. I cannot recommend these guys enough from both a product and service standpoint.

We've had a service agreement with American Heating and Air Conditioning for the past 4 years or so and have been incredibly pleased with all aspects of the relationship. Every member of the team we have worked with have been so very professional, knowledgeable, and never hesitate to go above and beyond. A specific shoutout to service technician Mike W. for always treating our systems with the utmost care and sharing his vast knowledge with us! We can't recommend American Heating and Air Conditioning enough!

I am so happy I found this company through a friend of mine. Jenny is fantastic, as is Greg, Keith and Mike who came today. I've NEVER dealt with the fantastic customer service from any other company. I'm having furnace issues, but I totally trust this company to fix AND NOT RIP ME OFF!! Please consider this company for your Central Air and Furnace needs. You will not be sorry!!! A family owned company for almost one hundred years. So highly recommended. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
