Needed a controller to repair my daughter’s oven. Tim was very knowledgeable to confirm correct part which was competitively priced and in stock versus having to order and wait for shipping. Oven working in less than an hour.
Staff provided great customer service when I was referred here for a hard-to-find replacement light bulb for our refrigerator freezer. I was so pleased when they had it in stock after I'd had no luck finding it at half a dozen other places!
Went to pick up a freezer part I thought I needed. The counter person was able to test my old part and determined it was good. (compressor start capacitor) they could have sold me the new one, and I wouldn't have known the difference... The part I needed was out of stock (compressor start relay), and I had to aquire it elsewhere. (It was somewhat of an emergency, and I couldn't wait for them to ship one in.) Sorry, guys... you will definitely get my business next time. Thanks for the great customer service.
Make 100% sure you are getting the correct part before purchasing anything from here. Bought a $246 part, plugged it in, didn't solve the problem and they refuse to take it back. The gentleman was nice but the policy is ridiculous!
Yesterday, my electric oven’s bottom coil blew up while I was preheating it to bake entries for the state fair. What timing! After several minutes of panicked googling, I found a listing for the replacement coil on the Dey Distributing website. Imagine my relief when I realized there was a storefront in Urbandale! A malfunction that could’ve ruined my meticulously planned state fair baking was fixed within an hour — trips to and from Dey included — and the first of my entries are ready for judging today. The employees were so kind, helpful, and supportive. What a blessing to have these guys 15 minutes away. They deserve a blue ribbon to go with their five stars! I’ll never go anywhere else for appliance parts.
