Richard and his team did a wonderful job getting our 1964 Fridgidaire Custom Imperial Flair back in working condition. They were engaged, professional, and informative. We could not be happier with the results. Thanks!
Purchased a refurbished 1954 O’Keefe & Merritt stove from AAR, replacing my 50’s Tappan. I can give this business the highest recommendation. Honest, knowledgeable, thorough, very responsive to all my inquiries - did what they said they would do! Worked neatly & cleaned up when done. Would not hesitate to recommend or call them for appliance service. Extremely pleased with my beautiful "new" stove!
DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! These people are, at best, unbelievably unprofessional and not honest...at worst, outright crooks. As two others have said in these reviews!! Who else is out there and has remained quite? If I could leave zero stars I would. The owner, Richard, picked my stove at 3AM!! That is a story in and of itself but it definitely points to thoughtless business practices right out of the gate! Richard, the owner, took my fully functioning, 1949 Frigedaire Electric Range (a unicorn!), with the intent of updating some wiring and redoing the insulation. I asked them to also re-ink my burner knobs and restore the clock. Everything functioned just fine (yes, past tense). All the burners and the oven worked properly. They clock worked. I am not an average American cook. It is my passion and joy to cook and feed people. To have my precious antique range, truly a work of design splendor, ruined is sad and frustrating beyond words. It's hard to put into words how fully and totally they ruined my stove. NOT ONE SINGLE BURNER WORKS AS IT SHOULD! I believe that three of the knobs are not mine. One is completely stripped and another is somewhat stripped. I also question whether the drip pans are my originals. Mine were quite shiny and they are all dull now. The top of the stove, when the oven is on, is so hot that you can literally get burned. I think they took the old insulation out and forgot to put new back in. They redid the chrome on the burner collars even though I discussed the chrome with Richard and told him not to do anything. The chrome was in great shape and we didn't need to pay for that service. They redid it anyway! The new chrome began flaking off with in a week! As far as the clock goes, they didn't do anything. In total, I couldn't, with good conscience even sell my stove if I wanted to. It is not functioning properly in numerous ways. Antique Restoration Appliance ruined my stove! I have contacted Richard and Sarah and was told to let them have the stove back and they would make it all right. They told me their work was warrantied. I asked how I could trust them to "fix" a stove that used to work and that THEY broke. I have not received a response. I have sent a registered letter with signature receipt requested. I have not received notice back that they accepted the letter, which was mailed October 4th. I will be pursuing this further!
Great service! A lot of people turned down my refrigerator repair. It is a 1943 model. These guys know what they’re doing
Richard and staff did an amazing job on my 1950s General Electric refrigerator. It was my grandfather's, and I remember it when i was a child. I was so impressed at how it turned out. The paint job looks so good that it looks just like i remember when i was a youngster. It took longer than I thought, but it was so worth the wait. Thank you, Antique Appliance Restoration!!
Richard and the team at Antique Appliance Restoration did an outstanding job renovating our mid-century Tappan Fabulous 400 (electric model.). It is challenge to find someone to restore an electric range but they took on the challenge and did an amazing job. Restoration, installation, and follow-up communication...all outstanding!
Antique Appliance and Restoration LLC. I would like to pay tribute and appreciation for Richard Aragon and Sarah Aragon, his wife. I was so honored to work with Antique Appliance Restoration LLC, this year. Finally after several years of looking around the DFW area, I was able to visit the warehouse and shop for Antique Appliance Restoration, located in Sanger, TX. Within the first few minutes of touring the facility, it was the most awesome experience that my family had witnessed in antique restoration. We were introduced to the family members, and technical workers during their operations, of dependable and reliable repairs that the company had completed. For our 1940 O'Keeffe and Merritt antique stove, that we placed in the hands of Richard and Sarah, gave me confidence that everything would turn out great. And I would be first to commend them and their staff for the quality of service that was performed on our 1940 O'Keeffe and Merritt antique stove. As I voice my opinion on what I actually witnessed during the process of restoring the stove this bond we shared deserves that I would tell the truth. If I were to seek the help of taking my appliances to anyone that has the ability to completely restore and give the product a new look; it would be given to this family business. My wife and I can now focus on cooking and baking food that we can only contribute to someone that has first hand knowledge of what I have seen and known as family, and friends within these two individuals. It has been noted that when you give recognition to those that are deserving we should be driving to encourage them so that their work continues to move forward, and assist others. It was a privilege that we had the opportunity to share in working together, and with such a great outcome. In showing our appreciation for the loyalty and hard work that was provided within this company, we would like to leave this comment for others to witness. As of now, for the purpose of today’s restoration for any antique appliances we will utilize and support Richard and Sarah, who have truly made a difference in our lives. And we say THANK YOU, and continue on your journey of servicing the communities with outstanding values of hard work, and service that is supportive, and purpose driven. "Well done" Our hope is that you all are continually blessed, and with great success! Thank you, Jimmie Robinson & Stephanie Robinson Family
