Alta Pest Control

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Alta Pest Control in Las Vegas. We hired them to deal with a scorpion and cockroach problem, paying about $300 upfront and then over $50 a month. We have a one-year-old child, and scorpions can be very dangerous to small children and older adults. Unfortunately, the service was completely ineffective. We never found a single dead scorpion outside the house after their treatments. In fact, the scorpions started coming inside, making things even more dangerous. The cockroach problem was never resolved either. They even told us to cut down two trees in our yard at our own expense, claiming the scorpions were climbing in that way. We did that and it changed nothing. After more than a year of paying them monthly, I ended up buying a product from Amazon and found eight dead scorpions the first night I used it myself—something Alta Pest Control never accomplished. Now they are trying to charge us over $400 and have harmed my wife’s credit score because we stopped the service. The manager was very rude and said they will only remove the charge if we rehire them, which is unacceptable. I just want to warn others not to trust this company.

This company is awesome. Everybody that I have interacted with from office staff to Juan the technician. that did the actual service at my house is absolutely the best very professional very respectful, listens answers questions just overall the best experience I’ve had with a company such as this and basically any other company. I’m so pleased and so grateful that I found them well searching for an extermination company Do yourself a great paper go with this company they are absolutely the best and thank you so much 1 and everyone else in the company

We had service with Alta pest control for over a year and a 1/2. Anytime we have an issue or concern we call them and their response time is usually the very next day. For the first time in 5 years we saw a scorpion. Small baby but still unwanted and called service today they came out immediately and it's already been handled Steven was very informative and polite. I can't thank this company enough for coming out and handling my scorpion situation

Steven was out to take care of numerous ant hills, became to much for me to deal with. He was very thorough in explaining to me what he was doing. Would highly recommend Steven.

This place is horrible. They can't give you a time of day that they will be at your house. They just tell you, they'll be there. Some point in the day, there's still all kind of bugs outside of my home. I still have ants coming inside my house when I called to cancel them they told me that I signed a contract and I can't cancel with them even though they failed to do their job. So when I finally got them to cancel four days later and ten calls, then they send me an email saying the that they're going to charge me four hundred dollars! Let me tell you about the first time they came here. The man came in my house spray it in 3 locations. Then went into my garage sprayed, a couple places in there, left, left my garage door open my back gate to my yard. When we informed them that the gate needs to be shut.Because I have a special needs Child! This is the worst company. Oh, and they charge you every month. But they only come out every quarter.!

Was prompted in getting me in the system then getting someone out right away. Multiple ant hills Became too much to deal with. Tried numerous products but none stopped them. Now they’re gone. Great job.

Employees from Alta are always respectful and kind. My tech, Steven L. is amazing. He goes above and beyond when he comes to my property. Always has a smile and positive, even in his awful heat. Keep up the good work Steven!
