This is a do-it-all style small business. I rented a U-Haul 6x12 dual axle trailer for a move. The other U-Haul locations did not have that trailer when I needed one. The store was prompt, opening on time, the paperwork was just an ID and a few pictures. I had reserved and paid previously online. The trailer was current on its maintenance (looked at the suspension, tires, and lights). No issues, just the rental that I needed with minimal overhead. The owners, workers are interesting to talk to.
TLDR: Do not go here. I spent 230 on repair and cleaning. Machine came back without all of the parts I had included (so I cannot currently use it), assembled incorrectly, and visibly dirtier than when I dropped it off. Aurora folx are nice enough, Englewood service center is a nightmare. Full: my Gaggia needed to have the housing/metal case adjusted, as it was cutting into the steam knob. The person at the Aurora store was lovely and spent time understanding my situation. 23 days later I emailed multiple people to get an update on when I could expect my machine. 2 days after the email it was checked into the service center, who then had to call and get all the details that I had already given. After the repairs were "done" is when the nightmare started. I had asked them not to text me, so I didn't receive the text that it was completed until several days later. Everything else prior was done via email. I spent multiple days trying to call the Aurora store to ensure they had the machine and steam knob, so I didn't drive for an hour round trip if I didn't need to yet. Eventually after multiple calls I ended up talking to someone at the service center who explained I couldn't reach the Aurora store because my number was blocked, and completely talked over me giving me personal guarantees that the machine was there, and not listening to my concerns trying to ensure the knob was there as well. They also tries to convince me they only had the machine since the time the repairs started, and made me feel like an idiot when I tried to include the near month it was waiting for service to start. When I get to the Aurora store the knob has not been included. I called again, asking them if they still had it, and how disappointed I was that I was treated so badly for trying to prevent this situation. They (I believe his name was Mehdi) YELLED at me that the machine was there like they had said, and YELLED that it wasn't a standard part so it didn't count. I had included it because it wasn't standard but I wanted to ensure that the casing didn't cut into it, which is why I included it. They said they couldn't ship the small knob to me, but rather I would have to drive another hour to pick it up at the store. Eventually they did email me saying they could mail it, but have failed to provide any tracking information and I still do not have the part. So my machine still does not work. When I got the machine home it was covered in a thick nearly oily dust that I was able to scrub off the top. But the top piece was not properly reinstalled with the front lip secured in the plastic piece, so I am very grateful I saw it while cleaning. I had also paid for a cleaning and descaling of the machine, and the water tank still has the same scale lines as it did when it left. So if I ever get the rest of my machine I will have to do that even though I had already paid for a cleaning and maintenance. Do not go here. You may not get a working machine back. They will yell at you, treat you like an idiot, and a majority of the people are awful to you.
If I could, I would give Mohammed 10 stars. The man is amazing and knows everything that his customers need and how to keep their items working optimally. He was so helpful and took the time to explain the repair to me and my best options and provide the best service possible. I would not hesitate to take anything that I need to have repaired to him and this location. I'm a nurse of 25 years and I appreciate those who know exactly what they're doing and do it exceptionally. I don't know what I would have done without him. Thank you so much Mohammed!
If you want to have a bad time and waste your time and money, and end up having your equipment repaired incorrectly, you can go here. It's not professional or sincere. I don't recommend it at all.
The customer service that I received while at the shop was good, but I do think that they Fees are too high for preparing vacuums
Having a Hoover vacuum under warranty? Don't go to this repair shop. They do not honor Hoover warranties. I was referred to that specific shop by Hoover customer service and they still wanted $80 to repair the covered device.
I have been going there for more than 10 years always been treated with respect until they hired this new guy called walkid, extremely unprofessional, disrespectful I and always talking about he does not have the tools to put a vacuum together so you should take it home yourself and do it when you go there don’t laugh with him because i he doesn’t have a limit he will embarrass you in a way that you have never been ….this is my last time over there ..that’s a shame..
