Dean fixed my Black & Decker refrigerator the day that I called them. They were the shining light in a nightmare repair process with Amazon, Black & Decker and Equity Brands. I would recommend Dean.
If I can. I leave 0 stars for him. I drop off an ELcasete deck to check out the mechanical not engaged. With a $20 fee. After 2 months. I call in. DEAN ( I think the owner) said the tech still working on it. Can’t figure out what's wrong yet. So today I kind of upset, so I stop by ask to take the unit back. I ask the Technical " you can’t figure it out? He said the Dean working on it. Not him.(How come Dean not honest with me when I call in?) That's a Big Fat Lier. Don’t bring anything to this guy. He had no knowledge or experience to me. On his business sign have logo of 5 Star service. Maybe that 5 star from his own rate for himself when business just opened. Take it down. Dean.
I concur with all of the 1-star reviews; absolutely the worst television repair ever. Same issues as others: no diagnostic testing; just replaced boards (motherboard was discussed, WiFi board was not until I was unexpectedly billed $200+). Called them back and boards replaced (again…at least they said they were new), only to experience ‘frozen’ screen, dropped internet connections…during the Olympics programming, of all times! (Simone Biles frozen mid-air)! Called them again. Guess what: 30-day warranty on replacement boards expired. I’m ’out-of-luck’. I can’t forgive LG for referring them! They should all be ashamed, but I doubt they are! BEWARE…VERY BEWARE!
Absolutely the worst! This company is awful! I can't believe that LG uses this company as a certified service technicians to repair LG appliances when their techs only speak Vietnamese and don't even speak English and unable to communicate!. I am not sure how Dean's TV & Appliance repair can hire these type of workers to repair high end LG appliances, unfortunately they don't know what they're doing and seems like they were not trained professionally to respect people's homes! I was extremely disappointed and notified LG to assign a "REAL" LG service certified technician to repair appliances. Beware of this company, they should be reported to the BBB, they don't even deserve a 1 star
My LG fridge stopped working, I called them and were able to accommodate an in-house visit the same day. They asked me for my fridge Model number and came in prepared with a new compressor in case it was needed, he performed an inspection and found indeed it was the compressor. The technician was knowledgeable, friendly, and worked quick and efficiently. He replaced the compressor with a new one and I have a fridge working now in the same day. Very happy overall.
I needed my Sony TV repaired. They took about 24 hours to get back to me with what was wrong with it as well as a price estimate. The TV was ready the next day. They were very nice people and the price was reasonable. I really appreaciated how quickly the whole process was. I would go 100% go back again.
When my TV breaks, I want to be confident that the company's techs will diagnose my problem correctly (or at least admit they are not not sure what the problem is). When my 55" Samsung OLED would not turn on at all, a Dean tech came out and confidently diagnosed that a the display panel was bad and was preventing it from starting up. Because replacing the display panel costs more than the TV's worth, it was deemed not repairable. However, I was suspicious of the technician's experience and competence with Samsung TVs since he seemed to spend most of his time doing research on his phone. I took it to another TV repair shop to get a second opinion. That other shop diagnosed and replaced the main board for $447, and now my TV works great. Luckily, I'm only out $550, including the $103 service call from Dean. I would have been out about $2100 if I had trusted their diagnosis and replaced my Samsung with a new TV.
