I took in a capacitor for my air conditioner, handed it to the lady. She brought back a box and I left. They do have a sign on the door that says no returns but she gave me a different part. Went back next day to exchange or return and she rudely says I should have checked it before I walked out. SHE GAVE ME A DIFFERENT PART. That's why I carried in my old one. I got cheated. Use the competition. The statement she says about they would exchange when they had so.eone to check is false. She told me under no circumstances would she exchange it. I got cheated.

I have used American Appliance for many years. Everyone there makes sure you are totally satisfied before and after the job is done. I have had my microwave, Refrigerator, and dryer fixed by them saving my lots of money instead of replacing them. I highly recommend them.

Called the business to check on a part for a dryer in stock. The lady that answered said they were closed for President’s Day but she insisted that I meet her at the business where she opened up and sold me a 5.99 part. Very very much appreciated and very very nice lady.

They got my money for the service call over a week ago and told us they would have to order the part! We have called them several times and no answer. The phone just rings ! We were told that the part would be in last week now we are stuck with no response! Bad service! No follow up. We live less than 3.3 miles and the serviceman did not do anything except take our check for the service call that was over one hundred dollars! Now no answer! Silence! Bugs chirping!

DO NOT waste your time with these people. Went in and set up an appointment to have my dryer fixed (a week later). The guy that was in there let me know that he had only worked for them for about 3 months. But he was a family member so now it was time to work for the family. Every 5th word was either "Fu-k" or "Sh-t". Appointment was set up to be from 1-5pm. The day of the appointment they called me at 2:12pm to see if I was at my house. I told them yes and they stated I was next on the list. They called again at 3:16pm (while I was outside) and left a voicemail stating since no one was home I had missed my service call and would need to reschedule . I only gave them one star because you can’t post a review with no stars. Went back an read other reviews and it’s obvious the woman in the office has issues. Take a minute and read the other one star reviews and figure out what the common denominator is

Called the day before Christmas eve to buy a heating element and the son said if you pay cash I will sell it cheaper I told him my husband doesn't get off until after y'all close and I will pay for it over the phone and just leave it outside and the son said no I'm here until 7:30 have nothing to do. My husband got there the guy took the cash didn't give him a receipt. Got home looked at the element and the wire at the bottom wasn't even hooked in the bottom called their answering machine right then. And now this guy is lying saying he didn't say any of that and that it wasn't broke. We had to pay twice the amount buying a new one. Don't use these people. It's shady practice to not give receipts and to discount it for way cheaper prices. We should of known better. Don't use them. You will get screwed and won't give your money back

I called to have my washer and dryer looked at. The technician was very polite and knowledgeable. He informed me that he would call me the next day with a price quote for parts. I called the office 3 days later to inquire about the price. The woman who answered was beyond rude. I have never experienced such poor customer service or professionalism with a company. She told me that they left me a voicemail with the prices. So i checked while on the phone and I did not have one. She told me that the technician quoted me. I again told her I did not speak to him about that. She insisted I did. She said he gave me the business card of someone to call to clean my dryer vent. I told her he didn’t. It was like arguing with a brick wall. She was not present during the one conversation I had with the man that came out and she even asked "Trish" in the background to confirm a conversation that neither of them were a part of. I am appalled at the way I was spoken to. I would 100% not recommend them to my worst enemy. I would NEVER insist to someone I was speaking to that they were a part of a conversation that never existed. She was so insistent I began to question my own insanity. If you don’t mind being a part of not existent conversations, then this is the business for you.
