Customer Reviews
Appliance Factory Parts has a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on over 94 reviews on Google
I literally just walked in, explained what I was looking for (I even had the part in my hand), and in less than five minutes I was already out the door and installing it at home. The staff really knows what they’re doing, the prices are very fair, and the service is excellent
I ordered a part and they said it would take 2 days. Ii prepaid for the part. I waited a week and didn’t hear anything so I called. They said it was supposed to come from Denver and now it’s coming from Minnesota. I called two weeks later and they said that Fedex said they delivered but they don’t have it. He said let me call you right back. Waited all day and heard nothing. Then when I did call, no one would answer so I left a message. I called while at the business and he still wouldn’t answer. I went to the desk and asked for a refund. He had no explanation and I said I was disappointed with the communication and lack of concern. That was it and he could have cared less that I left disappointed. Wow. I’ve been shopping there for over 10 years and it doesn’t matter. Sad to say, good customer service is just gone.
The guy name Reed who answer the phone is very sensitive! I was trying to order a 6 dollars thermal fuse for a dyer and he told me it cost 55 dollars! I was surprised that I repeat what he said which I said 55 dollars! He told me that is I say or scream again he will hang up the phone! That’s 50 dollars more than the regular price of the fuse itself! This is overpriced so don’t be fooled!!!
I called this company to get prices for my husband. Usually when I do this I get the "oh great its a girl" calling and I often feel I was taken advantage of... This was not the case. Hans the sales person, was respectful and helpful. He took the time to walk me through my options. He was very knowledgeable and helped me get the exact parts my husband needed and at a reasonable price. I am recommending this shop to anyone who asks!
Rockey was fantastic to work with! After Googling a few things to see if I could determine why my dryer stopped working, I called and asked for a specific part. He said he didn't carry that part in stock because it never breaks. He told me it was a possibility of a thermal fuse or the door not sealing. I mentioned we replaced the hose due to excessive lint build up from the previous owners and he said it was the thermal fuse more than likely and had the part in stock. I got the model number off the door and raced over before they closed. I was greeted at the door by a nice sales lady and she directed me over to Rocky who had the part in stock and even pointed out where it was located on my dryer. He was very courtesy and professional. Less that $20 I was on my way. I replaced the part and the dryer fired up just fine! I can't thank this gentleman enough. He certainly knows his job and is very knowledgeable. I hope he sees this and knows how much I appreciate him and his help!
We have had bad experiences dealing with this company a couple of times in the past, but they are located close to our house, so I gave them another chance. Against my husband's advice, I went ahead and bought a freezer from them at Thanksgiving. Today, I finally cancelled the order because they struck out again after missing two different delivery days. After wasting time waiting for a delivery on the day they promised (and had written on my receipt), I finally had to call and got the run around only to learn they moved the delivery back a couple days. Then I waited around again because they never called to confirm a time two days later, and still no delivery. Somehow they had "lost" my freezer and tried to sell me other units at higher prices. Not sure how a company can lose a 170lb freezer, but by then I had missed out on all of the Black Friday deals, so I kept hoping they would deliver. When I informed them that we needed a specific size and the one we ordered was the only one we wanted, they eventually were able to "find" my freezer the next day. Weeks after promised delivery, they rolled a freezer off their truck that looked like it had been dropped kicked off the truck! If I wasn't so upset, it truly would have been hilarious and in hindsight I wish I had taken pictures. Even the delivery guys seemed embarrassed and didn't question it when I refused the delivery. The only redeeming part of this situation was our salesperson. Rob was understanding and made a full refund. I think the screw ups were out of his hands. I thought I had missed all of the best Black Friday deals, but I found a great deal at Home Depot (& Lowe's and Sam's Club) and I KNOW I can count on them to follow through. Shop ANYWHERE BUT this store -- seriously! We have given them chances over and over. Believe the other feedback you read for this company. I don't know if their other locations are as bad, but the delivery problem came out of Denver. Their prices may be cheap, but I don't trust them at all. RUN!
I ordered a part online, expedited shipping. It arrived a day late, and the box half open and smashed up. I found AFP, read some reviews, and decided to email them. I had an email response in my inbox within an hour. Went in and was greeted promptly and friendly. They had the part, and gave me lots of tips on the type of part I chose, and tips on installing it. Best of all it was cheaper than what I had ordered online. Definitely recommend supporting this local business!
