Sears Appliance Repair

John was great, and super helpful, but I had to take off a whole day b/c the window was 8:00 - 5:00. John showed up at almost 5:00. A 9-hour window is ridiculous! As it ends up I would not have had to take a day off.

Our technician, Gerry, was very knowledgeable and conscientious. He was courteous, friendly and he was very careful to keep the area clean. I give him 5 stars!

Tech was very friendly but I had a working washer and after his visit I don’t have a washer. I’m not blaming the tech but he is telling me it will be 5-7 days for sears to decide what to do. I don’t understand that.

John was on time, was really nice, professional and explained what was happening with my refrigerator and the costs involved in repairing an 18 year old maytag. Unfortunately i decided it was too expensive be fixed but i was able to get another one delivered the next day. I would definitely use Sears appliance repair again.

Technician showed up (both my wife and I were onsite in a hot home awaiting his arrival). Spoke to briefly and then inspected the unit. We didn't see him again (or hear from him). 20 min later, I discover that he has left. I check with my wife-she had no contact with him either. Our email shows that we have been sent paperwork (via email) that reflects his comments on what the issue is and that we have signed it. Neither my wife nor I signed anything! There is an attachment which is supposedly (one of) our signature and it's just a curved line. We are upset in more ways than one. His comments about the HVAC were at least partially inaccurate as he asserts that the A/C was set at 88 and the pressure was within normal readings. I took a picture after discovering his departure and the setting appeared to be ten degrees cooler.

The tech acted as if he did not want to be at work today. Paid the service fee and based on his report our claim with choice was denied. I have trusted SEARS for along time now but i would never call Sears for service on your AC find someone else.

No one came. No way to call and speak to a person (phone is all AI/automated). We had an a/c repair scheduled for Monday between 8-5. Monday at 1:32 the website updated, just after showing a technician was on their way, and we were notified by text and email that the parts ordered hadn’t arrived. Our appointment was moved to Friday between 8-5. Friday morning the site showed a tech coming after 3 PM. Then at 11 AM, I received an email with a receipt for services. I checked the website and it said the technician had arrived. No one was there. For 4 hours the site has showed that the technician is at our house. Again, no one is there. No one is working on the AC that is not working. Every phone number for Sears Home Services, every chat, everything available on the website is all AI. I cannot get a hold of a representative to find out what is happening. This is infuriating and dangerous. It is far too hot to go this long without working air conditioning.
