TV Guy

I came to TV Guy over an issue I had with my VCR/DVD combo unit. The VCR part wasn’t working but Robert managed to fix it flawlessly. I had also brought in an electronic game piece from a board game that wasn’t working either and he managed to fix that too. Ivan had been a great help in the beginning by taking my calls and letting me know that they could fix it when I was looking for repair, I’m so happy to have found this store and will be returning if I ever have anymore problems with my electronics.

Short version: I needed to get a TV repaired. I live in Hollywood and needed to find someone that I trusted. I took a chance and called the TV Guy and I am so glad I did! Long version: Everyone has a story and mine was that I needed to move my Mother in Law into an Assisted Living Facility and was hoping not to incur more expenses than necessary and to see if a TV that was not used for a while can be repaired. After talking to Ivan on the phone, we agreed since the TV would fit in my car that I would bring it over for him to evaluate. The cost was $40 but that can be used against the repair. Ivan is a second generation at the TV Guy started by his dad. Ivan has been in the business since he was a little kid (thanks to his Dad) and loves what he does. Ivan cares, which was evident when he realized that he could not repair the TV without it costing more than the TV was worth. What he did next was amazing; he started looking around the shop for a TV that he can offer our family (at a fair price) that would solve the issue with moving my MIL into her new home. Now that is someone who cares about people and the work that he does. I had to snap a couple of pictures because if you are lucky enough to meet his 4-legged protector Riley, you will fall in love! Ivan was extremely knowledgeable...explained the possibilities of fixing. We moved forward w the fix and he had it completed in just a few hours. Then he kept it for a day to ensure that the fix was persistent. It was. Great work. Truly cares about his trade.
