After speaking with Mr. James the owner, we came to a mutual agreement. At the moment I am satisfied with the Generac generator. Instead of going through a finance company, Mr. James and I worked it out so I can pay for it infull. Thanks Mr. James for standing by the agreement. Continue to put your customers first. Thanks again for being an outstanding person. I feel the need to add to my review after the tech Andrew and his helper came out on 10/07/2025 to finish programming my generator, the two are very professional in what they do. I really thank Mr. James for sending great employees out to do the job. I was very pleased with AirSouth Cooling and Heat. AirSouth and I got off on the wrong side when I hired them to bring me out a generator. I spoken with Mr. James the owner and I can say this man truly stands by his words. He promised me that if I'm not satisfied with everything, he will give me the generator free. That doesn't mean just because he say that people will try and take advantage of his good will. He was willing to stand by that but there's no way my conscience would ever let me take advantage of anyone. I love sleeping at night. I will never let myself use or misuse anyone. Mr. James and work together and solve the issue in a very professional manner. I will leave this with anyone that had some bad experience with Airsouth, just give Mr. James another chance and you will see what i am talking about. I've spoken with his employees that answer the phone and they all treated me with the upmost respect everytime that I've call. I definitely will be using them to keep my generator services or if I need them for heating and air. Thanks Mr. James for employing some of the finest people that i know and that truly is a reflection on your behalf. My dad you to always tell me that the fruits don't fall far from the tree. Just had an amazing experience with Air South and this is my review. We had to have the power cut to our house because our VERY old meter started sparking and popping and we didn’t want an electrical fire. I had called for a quote that night (they are available 24/7 7 days a week) and the next day Lewis E arrived and helped us with getting everything quoted (Meter and breaker box combo, inside breaker box) for as well as filing for a loan. He was very understanding and answered all our questions and made sure to put us on the emergency list since we would be out of power. He made sure he did not leave our house until everything was scheduled, order, filed, and ready to rock. A few days later we met Jason H the electrician and had a wonderful experience with him. He spoke to us every step of the way and answered every single question we had about the process and what he was doing. He made sure everything was done correctly and did not rush a single thing. The job took 2 days as the house was old and took a lot of rewiring and quite a few problems with how the house was built. We were out of power for 7 days in total (with a generator thankfully). Wednesday night we lost power, Thursday 10am we got our quote, Friday - Saturday - Sunday - Monday they were waiting for a part to arrive so they could start but Lewis told us if the part arrived early they would have been there Monday, Tuesday (our appointment) Jason H showed up at 8am and completed half of the job untill 4:30pm, and Wednesday at 9:30am the other half of the job - code enforcement - Coast Electric hook up was completed around 5:30pm. Jason H was very compassionate and had let us know on the second day he would be working on it for as long as needed until we had power and wouldn’t leave a moment sooner (could have been another half day but brought in a helper and was willing to stay until midnight if needed). Everyone I spoke to at the office as well as the service expert, electrican and his helper (don’t remember his name) were very professional and made the entire experience stress free. Couldn’t have went with a better company. We plan on using them in the future and hope everyone has a great experience like we have! Our total was up in the $9,000 area for materials and labor but at the end of the day we can sleep soundly in our 1955 home knowing we were well taken care of.

Called for a plumber to help me resolve the laundry drain pipe problem, was told $69 diagnostic fee that would go towards fixing cost if possible. Plumbers arrived on time and looking professional, however had no communication skills and seemed very uninterested in resolving the problem from the beginning. They ran a pipe snake through the main drain which did unclog the kitchen sink that was connected with the laundry room. However, laundry drain pipe remained dysfunctional!! Was told nothing else can be done at that time so camera needs to run through there to get more info. But no camera is available… Anyways that would be $245 for an unresolved matter. Furthermore get another appointment with them brining camera for another $245 WITHOUT ANY GUARANTEE the problem can be fixed. In comparison, I was told $69 diagnostic will determine the plan of action. Feels like a total scam paying $245 every time they attempt to fix it. On top of that, the phrases "I don’t know" and "I guess" constantly said by plumbers. Also, they were vaping inside and outside the house. Don’t recommend going to plumbing business with them at all!! Maybe Air services are better than this…

Gary H was the best! He did a thorough assessment of the work needed for my grandma's home. He was not only patient but was very knowledgeable in giving us a clear understanding and an estimate of the work needed for our home generator, electrical repairs and air conditioning installment. Their office has consistently done quality and timely work for our family. I would definitely recommend Air South and Ask for Gary!

Purchased mini split, generac, and had insulation done above garage. The whole process was a mess between the number of techs that showed up unable to even do work because of one thing or another and the lack of quality. They busted brick I had to get patched on the side of my brand new home, ran wires over hanging air ducts, across walkway and over the top of my gas manifold in the attic. Insulation was barely blown in 3 inches in some spots when told it would be 12 inches, they did get out to fix that recently. Generac is still not hooked up its been over 2 months now and the gas line seems to have a leak they installed, was pressured up to 15lb for inspection and has been slowly dropping since. Called numerous times they state we are waiting on parts or for inspection.... alot of the appointments were done before we even moved in so 2 hour drive to be here and they show up 5pm or not at all, or show up and unable to work due to we didn't know it wasn't set or do not have the stuff to run a gas line... don't make the same mistake I did.

The technician (Nevin) arrived as scheduled, was very professional, correctly diagnosed the primary problem and also identified another issue that was less obvious and fixed both. The cost was reasonable. They also have a nice texting system that lets you know when the tech is on the way.

I had an extremely frustrating experience with this company while replacing my AC and heating unit, and I would not recommend them. First, they installed the wrong AC brand—not what I was promised. To make matters worse, the unit was dented upon installation. Instead of resolving the issue quickly, the installation became a drawn-out ordeal. What was supposed to take a few hours stretched across multiple visits: -The AC had to be reinstalled three times before they got it right. -The heater had to be redone twice due to issues. -I also had to spend an additional day coordinating attic entry repairs because of their poor planning. -I’m not even mentioning the multiple calls I had to make just to get them to fix their mistakes -the mess they left behind in my house. After multiple failed attempts, they finally installed the correct Trane system as originally promised, but by that point, I had completely lost trust in this company. Throughout the process, it became clear that they attempted to manipulate and trick me, possibly as part of a scam, hoping I wouldn’t notice the brand switch or the poor installation. This process was a major disruption to my busy work schedule and daily life, yet the company took no real responsibility for the delays or the stress they caused. I left with no heat one night when the weather was seriously cold in February. They failed to offer any price adjustment despite their repeated mistakes, leaving me with no choice but to fight just to receive what I had originally paid for. The only positive aspect of this entire process was the technician, William, who worked diligently and went out of his way to push for my attic entry repair to be scheduled sooner. However, good individual effort does not make up for an overall lack of professionalism, accountability, and trustworthiness from the company itself. If you value honesty, efficiency, and a company that stands behind its promises, look elsewhere. I am seriously considering filing a BBB complaint to document my experience. ************************* Update after the company’s response: After my initial review, the company responded, claiming they provided an $800 discount as a goodwill gesture. To clarify, this was not a post-installation discount—it was part of my original quote before any of these issues occurred. Additionally, when I requested a reasonable price adjustment for the multiple delays and mistakes, the company initially offered $750. However, when I pushed for fair compensation for the time and inconvenience caused, the owner withdrew the offer and accused me of "scamming" them—a completely unfair and misleading characterization of my request. I regret choosing this company because another reputable company had offered a similar price for the same service, but I went with this company instead, expecting a smoother experience. Unfortunately, I am now stuck with them due to their so-called "worry-free" warranty, which gives me little choice but to deal with them if any future issues arise. I stand by my experience: I simply fought to receive what I originally paid for after multiple failed attempts, unnecessary delays, and poor customer service. Beyond the financial burden, I also experienced unnecessary mental stress because of how I was treated—right before an important event in my life. I hope I will never have any issues with the products, as I would not want to go through another experience with this company. I would caution anyone considering this company to be aware of how they handle customer concerns.
