Sears Appliance Repair

The repair man was outstanding. He diagnosed the problem quickly and found the part locally. He was able to return the next day to replace the non-working part in a short amount of time. Heat began flowing through my home. Thank you!

Technician was supposed to arrive between 8am and 12pm. Never arrived, but got an email that the parts were installed and the service request was closed. Unable to get in touch with anyone at Sears because it's an AI loop. The reply from the "owner" is obviously a bot - every negative review is responded to the same way and the phone number will only take you to an AI loop - it will not let you speak to a real human being. If they genuinely cared, they would reach out to me personally since they have my information on file.

The technician did a great job, but it took 19 days to get my washer fixed. So long with my monthly fee I pay each month and my deductible and my visits to a coin up washer it was very expensive month. Also when you want to talk with American Home Shield it’s impossible to speak with a real person. Again the technician was wonderful 5 stars, the company I would give a 1 star.

Ben came in and helped me diagnosed what was wrong with my fridge and even tried looking for the cheapest option in terms of the part that was needed. Giving Ben 5 stars but as for the price of the parts and service which I know is above him seems unreasonably high. The total cost came out almost what we paid for the fridge itself.

Arrived on time. Knew what he was getting into with my initial contact. Went right to work and repaired the issue. Took about an hour and a half from start to finish. No extra parts needed. Cleaned up and left no mess. I was happy.

He showed up on time, fixed the problem, and cleaned up after himself. Very professional. I would be glad to have Prater’s come to help me again. I see that some other reviewers lump Sears Appliance Repair with American Home Shield. Sears is a contract sent out by AHS. Any issues with AHS should not be held against Sears.

Extremely dissatisfied with the repair system I have been waiting months for them to fix my washer that is still under warranty. They keep on canceling and rescheduling my appointment and today they even sent me an automated message saying the technician was at my place already when nobody has showed up. Don’t know what to do at this point. Need someone to step up and help me solve the issue.
