I picked United Appliances due to reviews. It was a good call. Came the same day I called. Ruslan was a nice and very efficient man. He was so smart about Appliance brands and the different problems they had. He was also very good at explaining what the problem was with my refrigerator and what he would do. I highly recommend the company, especially Ruslan.

I’ve used this company before and had a great experience, but this time was completely different. The technician charged me $150 for a part that costs around $22, which feels like price gouging. I understand paying for labor, but charging that much for a part and unnecessary work is just wrong. Before he came out, I told him the issue with my dishwasher had already stopped. The only thing that fixed it was lifting the drainage pipe, but he insisted the part still needed to be replaced. When he finished the job, he even asked if this was a brand-new dishwasher — which I had already mentioned when I called — and then started bringing up how my washer and dryer were old, which had nothing to do with the dishwasher. The part he removed was completely new, and I could tell his demeanor changed once he realized that. When I asked how much it would be for the day, he told me $145 — nearly $300 total for something that didn’t need to be replaced. It’s really disappointing because I trusted this company before, but now I feel like I was taken advantage of simply because I don’t know much about appliances. All he needed to do was lift the drainage pipe, but instead, he chose to overcharge me instead of being honest. I hope the company looks into this and holds their techs accountable so other customers aren’t treated the same way.

Great service! He came out quickly to fix my leaking refrigerator, diagnosed the issue right away, and had it repaired efficiently. Very professional and reliable—I’d definitely recommend him.

I called United Appliances and Air at 7 pm on a Saturday night with a refrigerator problem. Ruslan arrived the same evening, diagnosed the unexpected cause of the problem, and then fixed it. He was cheerful, proactive, knowledgeable and professional. I'm a grateful repeat customer!
