Dick's Vacuum

Walked in after searching Brookings, Watertown and Rapid City with no luck for parts to my wife’s vacuum cleaner. Was told have parts but not sure if same. A few minutes later left with parts sure I would make wife happy. It did. Thank You for keeping parts rather than making our machine a throw away. We will be telling others.

Have purchased a couple commercial grade vacuums for my business from them and always get them serviced here. They do a great job and keep them running like new for years. Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Brought in an older Kirby power brush with a bad belt. Told Mitch I was in the middle of a job and he replaced the belt on the spot!!! This is true customer service at its finest. Very much appreciated! Thanks Mitch!

Was very throughly explained the difference between all types of vacuums and ended up leaving with a Kirby. Love it so far. Great experience and didn’t feel pushed to buy.

Great service for just a bag of vacuum cleaner bags. Price was good too. Staff has good sense of humor since I did not know what exactly was the name of my vacuum, but they had a productive search on their records! Very pleased to say the least. In less than 10 minutes too!

Horrible service. I dropped my carpet cleaner off about 2 to 3 months ago, just to order a water tank because my current one have a small pin hole in it. However worked just fine. When I dropped it off, the service man was busy and said just leave it there and I will follow up with you. Waited 4 weeks, never heard a thing, so I stopped by to see if received my tank. They did not have it yet, said should be in, in a couple days. Went back a couple days later and they had it. Never ever did I receive a call. Went home, and now no water coming out of the new tank, but out of the soap tank, it was fine. Took it back and said this tank isn't working. The tank was a off brand for $65, did not have royal name on it. Waited a couple weeks called to see if they ordered a new tank, hr says haven't even got to it yet. Omg, I was pissed. I said just keep your tank and give me my money back. He said no return policy because I can't return it to royal. I said do you mean to tell me royal has a no return policy, let me call them and find that out. He then change his story and said that is his policy. Horrible horrible. Dick years ago was excellent, but this Mitch or whoever he is that took it over, is horrible. Horrible customer service horible service, dishonest. I am calling BBB next.

Super helpful and friendly. I went in just expecting to look at a few nice vacuums and get ideas. I walked out with a vacuum to try. I tried it, liked it, but wasn't convinced. I returned it, tried another one and loved it. They ordered it and it arrived within the week. Now I have a lovely Miele U1 Maverick Upright vacuum!
