Customer Reviews
P&D Appliance Commercial Appliance Service, LLC has a rating of 2.5 out of 5 based on over 24 reviews on Google
Normally, I don’t write reviews, but after receiving multiple emails from this company asking me to "leave feedback," I finally gave in. When I opened the link, I noticed they somehow had a 4.9 rating. I already knew something wasn’t right because when I searched them on Google, they’re sitting at a 2.5, and honestly, that feels accurate. I called in the morning for a simple service because one of my ovens stopped working. The tech arrived at 1:06 PM and left at 1:46 PM — a total of 40 minutes. When I called to ask for the cost, they told me the bill would be $500 that’s fine but They tried to charge me for a full hour and a half because the technician was "on the phone with the factory." That’s not my responsibility, but I let it go and so they did, but not without a fuss. Eventually an hour later I got the actual quote. They added a $400 markup on a part that costs only $500. Their labor charge? $800. Travel? $195. A random "freight in" fee for $100 — never heard of that. A $25 truck fee. The total came out to roughly $2,100 for a job that anyone with basic experience knows does not cost that much. At that point, I knew this wasn’t an honest business interaction. I called another technician for a second opinion. Great guy — he charged me $500 for the part and $150 for labor. I even tipped him another $50 because that’s what real, fair service looks like. It’s disappointing because I’ve used this company many times before, but now I understand exactly how they operate. And based on other reviews, I’m clearly not the only one who feels this way. I don’t like leaving negative reviews, but this was unacceptable. Hopefully this helps someone else avoid the same experience.
Had a service appt. today from 7-11am. I call in to dispatch at 10am to see if the tech was still coming. Dispatcher told me "No. looks like they called out today for personal reasons." When I asked if they could send someone else it was a no. Or when I asked why didn't they notify us when the tech called out, I was told, "We don't have enough people working the phones."
Technician was 1 and 1/2 hour late to meet up. After working for 7 hours, the refrigerator issue was apparently not fixed correctly. It tool 3 different techs and several follow ups to finally "fix" the issue.
Not complaining about the company. This driver was going 85mph on backroads near Dixon. Tailgating me and many other vehicles. The speed limit was 55mph by the way.
Terrible service. It took them over 4 months to repair my fryer. The woman they have at dispatch is awful. She sounds like she's just woken up from a nap everytime she answers the phone, shes rude, and can't seem to keep track of anything. It takes weeks to get anyone out, and half the time they don't give you notice that someone is coming. I also came in early twice to meet techs that never showed up, only to call the office and have them tell me that the tech had called out. They are quick to take your money, and slow to get anything fixed. My advice would be to avoid using them at all costs.
The worst customer service I’ve ever had to deal with. Extremely negative completely unhelpful. On top of that they charge a crazy prices for just checking it out was over 200 and they didn’t fix anything. Even if you have warranty they make you call the provider and do everything just to charge you way more regardless. The most expensive price will be the missing piece of your brain after your done dealing with the worst customer service rep of all time, I would name drop but at this point I pity the individual.
Service tech was sent on a warranty repair and after reviewing the equipment stated it was fine and just needed adjustments, which they tried to charge the customer for. This was after the manufacturer sent replacement parts for two clearly defective parts, one of which had caught fire the day before the service call and was captured on video. Seriously?
