Sears Appliance Repair

Awful service by Charles yesterday. I requested a regular routine maintenance service (which I have used in the past with no problems) on my dryer just to clean it . My dryer was taken completely apart and I was told it needed a new rotor for $384. I questioned the technician why he took my dryer completely apart for just a cleaning (which never happened before) and now my dyer is not working properly. I tried calling Sears and cannot get a live customer service agent to speak to just an AI agent. Also, this technician Charles tried to smooth things over with me by charging $50 instead of the & $99 maintenance fee, because I complain to him that my dryer was no longer operating the same as before. This occurred not even 24 hours later…my dryer is destroyed. PLEASE, PLEASE. PLEASE DO NOT USE SEARS for maintenance or repairs this was a desperate attempt to get money for a dying company unfortunately. Now I have to replace a dryer that was working just fine. BIG MISTAKE trusting Sears…it really is not the same company.

Technician did not know how to properly access the area of our stove to provide service, took apart the stove in the wrong place. Then was rude to my husband when he questioned the tech about using the proper access panel. So then the tech threatened to just leave the visit if he "didn't feel comfortable." My husband is a journeyman electrician and was ensuring the guy did the job correctly- we only had to use a repair company due to stove being under warranty. I would not recommend this company to anyone that has a choice in what service provider to use

Don was very friendly and efficient. He got everything repaired on our fridge and when it came time to add the gas, he realized he didn't have enough. He took the time to find another repair guy, to meet him at my house about 2 hrs later! My repair was done that day. Thanks Don!!

We required two visits since a part needed to be ordered for my fridge. Don identified the issue quickly and made the process easy for getting the part delivered directly to the house. Today, Bill came out and had the fan replaced in minutes. Great service and friendly technicians.

I would give 0 starts if I could. Assigned them for a warranty repair. This company should not be open. I have been rescheduled 6 times now. Missed work 2 days in a row to be told there is no technician in my area. Customer service (once you fight the bots to get through) is useless as they read a script of what to say. I know the script almost by heart from calling so many times. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Marc kept me updated on his arrival. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was very professional and personable throughout. Five Stars from me!

The technician recognized the problem and replaced the worn part. My Kenmore clothes washer is now operating like normal. I greatly appreciated how well the technician worked and corrected my problem. Thanks.
