Aptive Pest Control

I engaged Aptive for periodic pest control services (2 year contract) based on a door-to-door sales call. The salesperson (Talon), was persuasive and thorough - but not slick. The terms were clearly explained and straightforward. Aptive does engage on a subscription model, but the term, termination fee, frequency of visits were all clearly explained prior to engagement. For my initial service, Gavin was very thorough. He got rid of cobwebs all around the house and then treated for spiders and ants. Finally, he staked down a rodent box in the yard. Even though it was a Friday evening around 5 when he first arrived, he did not rush or slack at all - he did a careful and thorough job and was completely pleasant and professional throughout the service. I 100% recommend Aptive.

I appreciate their professionalism and warnings to their arrival. With a little one at home I’ve been able to tell them when nap time is occurring so we don’t wake the little one and they get right to work. The following photos are from our most recent visit from Cam who helped us out with a wasp trap after letting them know we had an increase in wasps.

Brandon was incredibly informative. He explained everything from a cycle of infestations to all other insects moles and rats. Very educational. Kayden was our service guy. We walked the whole property out and I showed him every hot spot and he answered every question from the eating habits to nesting and migration habits. He also sprayed approximately 8 foot proximity of the home including eves. He also placed extra bait boxes at no charge. Kayden was extremely professional and explained all the commercial grade bio safe chemicals. So dnt worry about the pets!!! Give them a try. Trust me I have others in Anacortes, Arlington and now Camano. And you get more for your dollar.

Junior did an excellent job. He gave me a heads-up about his arrival time, he followed up with a request I had perfectly, and sent photos of the completed work (taking extra time to make sure our back gate was locked when finished). We haven’t had any issues with ants or other pests since we started using your service.

I’ve been using Active Pest Control for a while now and just have to say how much I appreciate their friendly and professional staff. Every technician who’s come out has been kind, respectful, and thorough. Today’s visit was just another reminder of why I love this company — he even waited a couple of extra minutes for me to get home so he could treat the inside of the house for spiders. Little things like that really matter. I’ve always felt safe and well taken care of with their services, and I’m so grateful to have a pest control company I can truly count on. Highly recommend! ️

Renee came out for our service today and was fantastic. She was thorough, professional, and explained everything clearly so we understood exactly what was being done. She gave us great options for how to treat our moisture ant problem and made sure we felt confident in the plan moving forward. What really stood out was how she handled everything with such calm confidence and attention to detail, while also being friendly and respectful of our home. It’s clear she cares not only about the job itself, but about making sure customers feel taken care of. That kind of leadership and communication is rare.

Kaden, the Aptive Representative arrived at my home today Dec. 2, 2025, introduced himself, inquired what are the issues and got directly to work! Extremely professional, highly skilled, magnificent eye for detail all around the house and did a thorough job throughout the entire inside of my home too! Kaden is a positive, confident expert and is a gift to your Aptive team. I give him 10 out of 10… really a 15 out of 10, as he took the time to educate me on various things pertinent to his job in taking care of me, my dog and our home!!
