Assigned by manufacturer for warranty repair on a brand new refer. Appt &postponed & fixed a wrinkled gasket & attempted to level doors. I complained of grinding, squeaking noises internally. Tech (Jacob) said "that's how they come now". Had them back out 10/17 as refer quit cooling. Told me parts take 10-15 days. Stood & told me of his knowledge for 1 1/2 hours, stating, Oh, Warranty will pay me". One month later no word from Brook-Mill on part status, no call or text. Very irresponsible & inconsiderate. Do not use this company.
Very unfortunate. Spent a considerable amount of time with LG and Brook-Mill trying to fix my father in law's refrigerator that stopped working. Purchased the Flat Rate repair from LG. LG passes off the service to Brook-Mill. This is an out of warranty repair and the flat rate repair should cover it. Brook-Mill wants the original reciept of purchase for the refrigerator. Since we don't have that they won't accept the repair ticket from LG and so we need to find someone else to do the repair. How many people keep reciepts for appliances for 7 year? Negative! I actually thought maybe there was some confusion so when I talked with LG and asked if it was their policy to require original purchase reciept the said that it is not LG's policy but that they cannot control the policy of thier service contractors. I asked for confirmation that I did NOT need the original purchase reciept for the refridgerator and LG does not require it for the Flat Rate out of warranty repair.
Had great experience with Jake. Became out to investigate our LG fridge for warranty work and explained everything he had to order and why. He then explained what he was doing during the repair itself. Was very knowledgeable, professional and friendly.
I would like to take a minute to share my feedback. Did Brook-Mill fix my issue? The answer is no. Would I use them again? Absolutely! My washer/dryer had no serial or model # on it. LG ThinQ ventless stackable. Needless to say, no warranty. I had another company out the day before and they said that they wouldn't work on it and were very rude and condescending. LG was so frustrated they just passed me thru to Jamison (bless his heart, it was a cold transfer from LG) After telling him the issue he provided me with an email to send him the pictures I had. He was able to get me in next day. As promised, Tim text and called when on the way and it was on the early side of the 12-4 window. My dog was happy, that meant more play time for her. Tim was doing some stuff to the dryer, way above my level of expertise. When he was finished he explained very thoroughly why my dryer was "beyond repair" and offered me some great buyer beware info. Did I still pay the service fee? YES! Noone is driving and working for free these days folks. Not Tim, Jamison or the companies fault that I purchased an item with no birth certificate and an early expiration date. These guys were kind, professional and knowledgeable. Any future issues with appliances, Im calling Brook- Mill! Thanks Tim and Jamison!
The were very responsible and flexible with scheduling. Tim was onsite and did fantastic work. Very timely and professional. Cost was well within expectations and probably better than I've had at other locations that have done work for us in the past. Brook-Mill will be our go-to for any future repairs and/or service. Highly recommended.
Very unprofessional service. After sending pictures and videos of the issue, the repair technicians showed up and asked "what's the problem?" Evidently the pictures and videos of the broken handle were a complete waste of my time and the technicians showed up unprepared to complete the repair. On the second visit, the technicians brought a damaged door and attempted to swap it out as they pretended to not notice the dent in the middle of the replacement door. After visit 2, we were notified that our issue could not be resolved. Absolutely zero respect for the customer. Our door was reinstalled incorrectly and now makes a grinding noise. Not only was our issue not fixed, it was made worse.
Jake came to our house for a service call to repair our LG refrigerator and was amazing. One of the best service techs I’ve ever had at our house for anything. Kind, friendly, and super informative. He was speedy with the repair and very thorough with explaining what he was doing and why.
