CNY Electrical

I had a problem with my service wire and National Grid put me on a temporary service that I had to have repaired in days or my power would be cut. I called a number of electricians and all responded that they were too busy to help me. I finally got CNY Electricals phone number and explained my problem with Shawn. He was there within several days and replaced the damaged service cable to give us safe, permanent power back. We also discussed an upgrade and set up a date to have that completed. Shawn was unable to get back on that date and called to apologize and offered an incentive. He was there on the new date we set and completed the upgrade. Due to the covid issue, there are some parts that are in extremely short supply (nothing the impacts the safety or functioning of the work he performed), and are on backorder. He directed me to text him frequently to touch base on the backorder. One breaker did come in and Shawn promptly texted me and then came to install it. We are still waiting on one part, but I have no doubt that Shawn will contact me and complete the upgrade as soon as the backorder does come in. Shawn is professional and responsive to the needs of the customer. I recommend him for his services.

Shawn was out to our home about 48 hours after the initial phone conversation. He was knowledgeable, efficient and his work was high quality. It was necessary to order additional parts to complete the job. He had his crew out to finish the job the following week. Would recommend. Glad that we contacted CNY Electrical.

Not only did he give my parents a great senior discount, he took me around the home, taught me a little about how the electrical works, and addressed the thousands of concerns I had. Even though I kept him far past his appointment time, he was incredibly patient and never rushed me. This is an honest small business owner that answers his own phone when you call the number. Who does that anymore these days?

After calling probably every electrician in CNY who were all unable to respond to my dangerous emergency situation on short notice, Shawn and his team were able to come to my house immediately and had everything repaired and replaced (full panel replacement) within three hours which was exactly the time he estimated. The final price ended up being half the original quote which made me extremely grateful for his honesty about the work that needed to be done. The job was completed quickly, professionally, and at top quality. Truly grateful for this company that came at the drop of a hat to save my home.

I had a pleasant experience with CNY Electrical. Shawn came highly recommended by a friend. He installed a light/ fan in my sons bedroom ceiling and ran wires to it. Cleaned up after himself, left no mess behind. He made sure I was happy with his work before leaving my house. Will definitely be using him again in the future.

I am blessed to have found CNY Electrical. The main power cable to my home was damaged and I was completely without power for days. I desperately searched for an electrician but to no avail. Received a recommendation to try CNY electric from an acquaintance and so glad we did! We wanted an outlet installed near one of the toilets for a hookup to use a Bidet. Shawn was very responsive and pleasant to work with. We initially communicated via phone/text and I sent him copies of our floor plan so that he could assess the scope of the work required for himself. On the day of installation, he arrived with a partner and the work went very smoothly. They drilled through the ceiling from the attic to run the line down to the toilet. They ended up making an extra hole in the ceiling but it was patched up in a satisfactory manner and Shawn even offered to come by to patch it up better. They cleaned up everything and were very professional. Overall, I am very pleased with how everything turned out and how easy it was to work with Shawn and I really appreciate how he does business. We will definitely be using CNY Electric for any future electrical needs!
