November 10,2025 Once again if I could give more than 5 stars to Kalie R. and Todd C. I definitely would. Kalie continually goes above and beyond providing support...assistance...and knowledge. Kalie makes certain that any and all issues and concerns are noted and have been successfully addressed. Kalie R. was paramount with guiding me through the NYSERDA/EMPOWER+ enrollment process as well as making certain that there were minimal "glitches" (if any). She made sure that I was pleased with the ENTIRE audit and completed work results. Due to Kalie's professional knowledge... consideration and thoughtfulness....as well as the expertise of all the John Betlem/Mapstone/Fisk Electric/Cooney Techs that have done work at my residence...I have joined the annual maintenance "Cool Club" program. THANK YOU KALIE. Todd C. was the tech from Cooney/John Betlem. I had been having water/condensation coming from my furnace. I found this issue four days ago and have had to turn off the furnace as water was dripping onto the furnace fan motor as well as electrical connections. I could not use the thermostat to constantly keep the furnace engaged due to this water issue. Every time I used the furnace I had to open the furnace and physically remove the water before any damage was done. This meant running the furnace twice per day...morning and evening....when the temperature in the house went below 62 degrees. Todd diagnosed the problem areas and recommended ordering the necessary repair parts. Apparently, the company (NOT John Betlem/Cooney/Mapstone) that I purchased my furnace from did not install all areas correctly....which led to the current furnace water problem. Unfortunately...the parts would not be received for repair for at least ONE WEEK. Without the parts...Todd very easily could have left without doing anything to remedy the current furnace situation. Thankfully, he did no such thing. In Todd's words "I don't want to leave you in this situation. Let me see what I can do." With that Todd worked on the problematic areas using his professional knowledge....expertise....years of experience....and creativity. It has been a few hours since Todd worked on the furnace....there is NO water coming from any part of the furnace! Even though THE "Todd Special" has proven successful....I recognize that the repair parts recommended by Todd is the absolute correct and best way to go. Needed to buy a new furnace and got quotes from 3 different companies. Cooney was the best of the 3. Ron in sales was low pressure and easy to work with. The installation was handled by Quinton and Matt and they did a great job! They were professional and answered all my questions. They cleaned up after themselves and finished earlier than expected. Highly recommended. Almost forgot to mention, the furnace I bought comes with $1,200 worth of rebates and Cooney even said they would assist me with the forms if necessary.

We needed a new boiler for our hot water and radiant heat. I was frustrated with the repair that didn’t work initially and the boiler that wasn’t delivered on time to the store so they couldn’t start the install on the day promised. Brian Percy was our technician who did the install. He was so patient and knowledgeable and worked with me to get it done and get it right. He made the process much more tolerable and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. I would recommend Brian all day long and was happy with the outcome.

Matt, Jaron, and Shawn installed a new AC unit in our home today, and I truly can't say enough good things about the entire experience. From start to finish, they were professional, courteous, and clearly skilled at what they do. What really stood out to me was their attention to detail—not just with the installation itself, but also with the care they took to protect our home and landscaping. The setup wasn’t the easiest due to the layout of our yard, but they handled the challenge with care and precision, making sure nothing was damaged in the process. They kept everything clean, explained the steps they were taking, and answered all of our questions patiently. It’s clear they take pride in their work, and it shows. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing HVAC services. Truly top-notch service from a great team!

We had four companies in for estimates to replace our furnace and AC unit. Cooney was the most reasonable. The day of installation, Quentin ("Q") and his crew were very efficient. They cleaned everything up and explained what they did and what to do going forward. Nice guys to work with! We are very happy with their work.

We purchased a new central air conditioning system from Cooney and are extremely happy with the entire process! Ron in sales was very responsive, knowledgeable and easy to do business with. He did a great job of coordinating the sale and installation scheduling. Zachary and Marco installed the unit in 90 degree heat and never once complained. They were courteous, efficient and thorough and did a good job of explaining the system. The same can be said of Alex from the service team who diagnosed my 18 year old unit before I made the decision to replace it. Everyone involved did a great job and demonstrated excellent customer service. I am a longtime customer and highly recommend Cooney AC & Heating!

Sean was very professional, respectful of my home and answered any questions that I had in terms that I could understand. He left the furnace room very clean. After Sean left, an issue arose and I called him. about. He came back to our home and quickly addressed our issue. This showed me how much Sean stands behind his work. We would welcome him back into our home any time.
