I recently hired Mr. Bell of C.B.X Electrical Services to replace a damaged and broken 3-way kitchen light switch, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final cleanup, his level of professionalism was outstanding. He arrived exactly on time, provided a clear and fair estimate, and communicated clearly about the scope and timeline of the work. The quality of the electrical work itself is impeccable. Everything was done neatly, up to code, and with incredible attention to detail. He made sure all questions were answered and that I understood how the new setup worked before leaving. If you need an electrician who is reliable, detail-oriented, and genuinely committed to doing the job right the first time, look no further. I called CBX Electrical to come take a look at an issue I was having with my kitchen lights. I described the problem to him on the phone and we talked a bit about what may be the problem, as he wanted to see if he could guide me to a solution without me having to spend my money. Having already troubleshot the issue myself for a few hours prior, and given we couldn't sort things out over the phone, I was ready to have somebody come take a look at it. Mr. Chuck was very friendly and once he got hands and eyes on the light switches, was able to explain to me the issue in a simple manner that I was able to understand. I asked him questions along the way and he was happy to answer. I feel like after having him fix the kitchen lights and talk me through it, if I have similar issues in the future I now have the know how to try to solve the problem myself.

Mr. Chuck was great! We lost power due to the huge storm this weekend, but he came the next day. He tried to walk us through some troubleshooting over the phone, but we needed an actual tech to look at the issue. He was very thorough in checking for any electrical issues and gave good advice as to who we could contact to fix the remaining issues. He was kind and very helpful. We'll definitely call him again!

Mr. Chuck provided quick, knowledgeable and professional service! During a storm over one weekend my home received a power surge that fried an outside outlet. All other electricians were closed and Mr. Chuck himself was very busy. The fire department had turned off all the power in my home and Mr. Chuck walked me through pinpointing the exact breaker switch with an issue to get my power back up and running until he could get here later that evening! Absolutely wonderful service! He will definitely be my go-to for all things electrical going forward.

I called CBX Electrical Service and spoke with Chuck for a blown breaker I had that needed to be replaced. He was very attentive and responded quickly to our needs. He came out assessed our issue and gave us a quote to replace breaker which was very reasonable. We allowed him to replace the breaker and found that we had to upgrade based on his assessment. Once he completed the job we have not had any issues. I have him listed in our directory as the preferred Electrician.

Absolutely the best. I had an issue with the power going out in 2 rooms that shared a breaker that detects arcing. He explained why it's tripping, and showed up on time for the appointment to fix it. He was very polite and knowledgeable and went made sure I was well-informed about what needed to be done and what the possible repair options could be. Very fairly priced and I was expecting much worse so A++ on that end. Repair was prompt and he didn't dilly-dally. Easy to talk to and very trustworthy. Far and away the best I've interacted with in my near 5 years of living in the area.

The 1 star should speak for itself but I’ll elaborate as to why I actually took the time to give a review, and a bad one at that. Originally I called Mr. Wise to come and fix my minor electrical issue (**tripped breaker**) but apparently if they are overbooked they send another company. Either way, this company came out to flip the breaker. The service fee for simply coming out was $199. The amount of times this man repeated himself on the cost of things and how he doesn’t overcharge should have been a red flag, which he did overcharge. The total was $230. What the extra $30 was for who knows, because he flipped a breaker that’s it! He stated he would be at my house between 8-10am, then he called and said he would be here at noon and talked about payment again, he ends up showing up at 1:45. I had errands that I had to run and had to leave the issue with my extremely busy husband who had more serious business issues that was pressing him. This electrician walks through our house with mud all over his feet. PICTURE BELOW. We are a family that doesn’t wear shoes in our home! Once I got home and saw this and was told by my husband what the cost was. I sent a text message with the picture of our carpet and called him immediately. The man blamed my husband for the carpet...which my husband was wearing socks through the house. I asked about shoe covers and if he wore them, his response... no one asked him to. Whattt?? As a professional in someone else’s home you have to be asked to wear shoe covers? The fact he didn’t take accountability is what throws me. For that reason alone I would like to warn the public of this company! If he can’t take accountability for muddying up carpet I would take a guess if he does electrical damage to your property he most definitely wouldn’t. Beware! Side note: the breaker didn’t look flipped so that was an oversight on our end, which still doesn’t justify the overcharge or the mud on the carpet.
