D & J Quality Electric

My house is not 1 mile from the D&J Quality Electric in Colorado Springs. I called them on a weekend because I had no electricity, followed their directions and left a detailed message that I needed an electrician because I had no electricity. The message said someone would call me back. NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK. NOT EVEN ON THEIR NEXT OPEN BUSINESS DAY! I should probably give them 1 star but I am being generous towards a neighbor.

I had D&J Electric come out and install additional outlets in my garage. Rich was professional and gave me a price on the spot. He quickly got me in the schedule and had Jim come do the install. Jim did a great job and even helped move some of my stuff out of the way to get the work done. I will definitely use D&J again in the future.

Will hire again without hesitation! We received more than what we paid for. Exceptional service from their team and are 100% satisfied with the results of their work, friendliness and professionalism. I Hired D&J to correct/Install a service disconnect to detached garage. Whomever installed the electric in the past had spliced directly to service drop vs going through breaker box leaving no way to isolate garage panel. Rich and his team quickly came up with plan and kept me informed of all aspects of job. This could have really turned South quick with all the Supply constraints and previous shortcuts. Rich provided alternative options, was able to save money without cutting corners. They're excellent stewardship of money enabled them to come in under proposed price, passing the savings on to me. I couldn't be happier!

An electrician came out to install two ceiling fans at my house in June. They work great no issues. In one of the bedrooms the electrician said he had to leave a can light always on, so we just took the lightbulb out of it. I was talking to a home inspector a couple weeks later and they said that solution would not work if we ever sold the house. I have called and left numerous messages with no call back. Everytime I call the receptionist gives me some excuse on why they haven’t returned my call. It’s been months they’ve had plenty of time.

D & J are the best. Rich and Candy did a great job on my home electrical repairs. Their electrician came to the house on the date and time scheduled, rebuilt all of our old flourecent light fixtures and turned them into LED fixtures and all under the estimated cost. They also checked out our ground fault breakers and replaced the bad ones. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing electrical work.

We hired D&J to revamp our water system's electrical power system spending over $9,000. We are having issues and have called multiple times to schedule someone to come out and evaluate the problem. Crickets. I have even referred friends to them so just be aware that doing solid business doesn't get any gratitude or respect. Never again!!

Came out look at the breaker box since the main breaker kept flipping off. Said the breaker was bad and was maxing out too early. Told they would be back in a week to repair. After 2.5 weeks I called and left multiple messages. Was called back 3 days later and informed that it was denied from the owner saying it was a "liability due to overload" stating we were simply overloading the breaker and that is was not in fact maxing out at the wrong voltage. Which is not what we were told. I asked why someone didn't inform us of this decision and was told that " I contacted blue ribbon they should have called you." Unprofessional to not inform clients of changes to the plan. Then I was informed " we are no longer doing work for blue ribbon at the moment" why come out and look at the breaker if you didn't intent to do the work? I was informed that multiple people were Injured or quit and that was the reason. Which is fine but to not inform clients that you wouldn't be doing the work is very unprofessional. And not finishing work started is not okay. We waited 3 weeks and paid our co-pay for no work to be completed and to be brushed off for 3 weeks.The lady on the phone then said she could ask the owner to reconsider. But what's the point? I don't want a Unprofessional and unorganized company working for me. Will have to replace the breaker on our own and will be reporting this company to blue ribbon and the BBB.
