Had a number of issues with the electric in my house on a Friday afternoon, and they mentioned they could come out later that afternoon or even on Saturday, Due to my schedule, we decided on Monday morning. They were prompt, and diagnosed a severe electric panel failure with my very old 125 amp service, requiring an entirely new service panel (200 amp). They were able to replace it that day. They gave me an estimate, which was less than I had anticipated. When I got the invoice, it was even less. The young man who did the work was extremely courteous, and worked inside and outside in 15 degree weather. Sparks is now my go-to electric company from here on out. I've been spreading the word for folks to use them if they have electrical needs.

They were upfront about what was needed and provided fair pricing. The job was completed in a timely manner and they handled all issues along the way. Highly recommend!

A tree in my neighbors yard ripped the power line off of my house and I had to replace the attachment and connection a couple of years ago. Sparks Electric Service offered me an extremely reasonable price compared to other places I called and they also took the time to explain everything to me. As a woman and first time homeowner, a few of the places were clearly trying to take advantage of me and Sparks did not seem that way AT ALL. I also feel the quality of work was very good and 3 years later it is holding up just fine with no issues. I really appreciate them as an honest business. Hard to find these days. They will definitely be my first call in the future for any electrical work I may need.

I just can't say enough good things about my experience with Sparks. Steve Glaser was amazing and went above and beyond to help facilitate a quick repair and was there on site to make sure everything was going as it should. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and we felt well taken care of throughout the process. Highly recommended!!!

I called with a wiring question as to how to hook up my wall oven because there were different numbers and colors of wires. A super awesome Matt called me back right away, and walked me through, with patience and professionalism! I offered to pay for his time and assistance, he said no that was fine. I was totally impressed and deeply thankful! I had called another company and was told they would only answer my question by coming out and charging me for the trip and hours spent. Your company totally stood out by providing superb service by having Matt there! Although I did not actually/physically use your services, I definitely will in the future as well as telling everyone about you!!! Please give Matt my heartfelt thanks, and tell him he ROCKS!

Staff was excellent with keeping me informed on the process. They not only did the job well, but were so considerate of protecting my personal belongings. Also cleaned up after themselves really thoroughly despite my protests to save the staff some work. Highly recommended!

I am the manager of a retail establishment here in Vandalia. I called on a Thursday to schedule an appointment and a very friendly, and knowledgeable technician named Adam was out here the following day to service the light fixtures in my store.
