JD Service Now

This is not a reflection of the technician (who was very nice) but only of the PRICE of the install only! I had to replace a garbage disposal and feel like I was gauged on the install price. I needed to be able to wash dishes and did not have time to shop; however, when I picked up the unit at a hardware store, I found out after I agreed to pay that I should have paid $230-$250 for fair install price. I was charged $543 for the garbage disposal install ONLY! I would highly suggest shopping for prices. This is extremely expensive for an install that takes an hour.

This company is the worse we have ever dealt with. It doesn't deserve one star but it is the only way I could pubish the reveiw. I made an appointment on Monday12/1 for service to be done on Wednesday 12/3. I was told that we would get a confirmation phone call on Wednesday morning. Didn't happen. Service was scheduled for between 8:30 am and 11:30am . We were to recieve a call 30 minutes before arrival. No phone call. Three phone calls from us later , still no service person. He finally arrives at approximately 4:15. First thing he says is he isn't sure the disposal will fit the new sink. Then he gives us a price of over $1,000 to install the kitchen faucet and disposal. SERIOUSLY! The next price is $750, with no explanation on why it is now less. We still said no. Then the price is down to $537. How is the world can you expect anyone to agree when in the span of a few minutes the price is reduced that much? It seems to be a very shady way to do business It is also a despicable way to attempt to have homeowners pay the highest possible price. If the price could be $537, why quote me two bids higher. TO RIP ME OFF! We sent him on his way. Then, I get an email saying I owe $537. Needless to say, I called the company and told them I will not pay for work never started. I requested we be removed from their system as we would NEVER call them again.'HOMEOWNERS BEWARE!!

We have had majority-positive experiences with JD Service Now around our HVAC and electrical; however, our latest experience was unsatisfactory. They quoted 2-3x local, competitive estimates for an HVAC issue without explanation of the markup, and they oddly have not sent me documentation to confirm that I would not like to move forward with that service, despite numerous phone calls requesting such. They do a good job and have good availability, and we have had mostly-positive experiences with them and their techs, but their prices will likely be at the high end, and we will now be seeking multiple quotes again moving forward, rather than continuing to just go with JD.

Outstanding service and professionalism! Brian was punctual, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He took the time to explain what needed to be done efficiently with great attention to detail. Everything was left clean and tidy, he really went above and beyond. It’s rare to find someone this reliable and trustworthy. I’ll definitely be calling them again for any future electrical work and highly recommend them to anyone looking for top-notch service!

I recently signed up for regular HVAC maintenance with JDServiceNow and they just came out for their first inspection. Both gentlemen who came to do the work were knowledgeable and professional. They communicated in detail regarding the issues they identified and fixed them for a reasonable price. Very happy with the work done and with their concern for the customer. Highly recommend!

Josh is the best. Very respectful and made sure he explained to me what water pressure should be and if I need him to come back out he will. I'm pleased with JD Rider services. Highly recommend! Also want to add Jacques the rep for JD was so so calm with me when I was overwhelmed with getting the payments correct through the credit company. I want to acknowledge him as well. I hired Greg from JD Service Now as a 2nd opinion on a water main drain line obstruction problem I am having. Greg was knowledgable, friendly, and clearly experienced in his field. He explained everything in an easy to understand way and made me feel confident in his findings. Anecdotally, the previous snake cam operator and the City snake cam operator both failed to identify the issue. Greg was able to positively identify that a rubber coupling was shifted out of place and causing a solid waste obstruction. He provided a competitive quote for the service, which would require extensive excavation. I would highly recommend JD Service Now to anyone experiencing issues with their plumbing and sewage. Give Greg a raise! 😀
