Jim and his team arrived on time and completed the job very quickly. We are very pleased with the work. This is not the first time we have used A & M and we have been very impressed every time. Will definitely refer them to friends and family who may need their services.

On Friday, May 16, a tornado ripped the weather head off our house and broke the conduit connected to our meter box. I contacted A&M Electric on Saturday, May 17. Jim visited on Sunday, May 18, to provide an estimate. Upon further inspection, he informed me that the breaker box in our basement needed replacement due to a brand-related fire hazard prohibited in Granite City. I accepted the estimate, and they accommodated us in their busy schedule, completing the work by Tuesday, May 20. We now have a new meter box outside with a generator inlet and a new breaker box in the basement. This upgrade eliminates the need to run extension cords from the generator into the house during future power outages. Jim and his crew were professional, courteous, and efficient. I highly recommend A&M Electric for any electrical work!

Great first experience with a great electrical company. Contracted A&M to upgrade electrical system that would support EV charging in additional to the other electrical loads we already have. Upgrade from was a single 200A breaker panel to a new 320A meter base with the original 200A breaker panel (Rewired as a sub-panel) and a new 200A breaker panel in the garage. The work is very clean, communication was consistent and easy, and the finished product was exactly as I had imagined. Jim from A&M electric, Inc. is fantastic! He is knowledgeable, thorough and stands behind his work. I'm impressed how articulate he is to details. He installed an EV charger, mini split, several outlets, light switches and ceiling fan for me. No matter how big or small the job is, he goes above and beyond. We had a new generator installed my A & M. They were prompt and courteous from start to finish. They explained the operation of the generator well. We highly recommend them and will definitely be calling them for any future needs we may have.
