Express Electrical Services Inc.

I used Express Electrical Services to remove my existing service panel and install a new service panel (breaker box), a generator interlock kit, and a 50 AMP generator plug. They reviewed my existing service panel (breaker box) and gave me an estimate for the work. As for the pricing, I got a bid from three companies, and Express Electrical Services was the most inexpensive. The work itself took a day. I was able to pay via Credit Card through an online portal. The only problem I encountered with the work had nothing to do with Express Electrical Services, but since they helped me with the issue, I would like to discuss it. They handled nearly all communication with Centerpoint Energy for disconnection and reconnection. Mike (my project contact) was excellent at keeping me informed when they found problems and giving me options to resolve them. The day they performed the work, Centerpoint Energy discovered a problem with my underground service wiring and required that I replace it before they reconnected service to my home. Express Electrical Services worked with me to replace my underground wiring and the Residential Ringless Meter Socket (meter can). The only challenge I faced with Express Electrical Services was their turnaround time. They are extremely busy and require one to two weeks to execute signed bids. My initial work was not time-sensitive. However, replacing the underground wiring had priority because I needed to restore power service to my house. They were able to get that work done the following week. (I should note that I was not without power; I paid Centerpoint Energy for an emergency bypass.)

They installed a new switch to a ceiling fan that previously only had control from a hand-held remote. The moved an existing switch from a bad location to a spot next to the door where I come in making it much more convenient to use. The fixed several more items. I'm writing this review a year later - wish I'd done it sooner but now that I need more work I had to look them up again. I hope they're as great this time as they were the first time!

My house had some outlets that were not working. I called and they came the same day and fixed my problem. Andrew was really friendly and went straight to the problem and fixed it. I definitely would recommend this company. These guys are the real deal and I would definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

Was able to make service call appointment for following morning, techs arrived early and promptly found and repaired the bad breaker. They even called me immediately to correct a small billing issue. I trust this company and would use their services again.

Clint and the gang at Express Electrical are the best! I've had them do several jobs for me and they are professional, knowledgeable and just all-around great guys. I highly recommend Express Electrical for anyone who needs a fantastic electrician.
