Juan was prompt, efficient, and did a good job replacing my old main electrical panel. He also gave good suggestions for working with the building inspectors & PG&E regarding the permit process.

I was told I needed to change the main panel and was also told that it would be at least 5k! I called Cal-Com Electric Inc., they came made an assessment and it turns out the main panel was just dirty and the problem was with the cable that connects to the electricity pole which has to be taken care of by PGE. The main panel was cleaned, the cable was reconnected and I only paid $300! I saved at least $4700!

We needed to have our new spa hooked up to the electric so we called Cal Com Electric. Juan was very prompt, communicated well, had to do some extra work because of past spa install done poorly. He worked hard, he made sure everything was explained in advance, came in right on price and was very reasonable. He has done work for us in the past and we love working with him and have had excellent results. We will use him every time we have electrical needs!

I recommend Juan Lucas of Cal Com Electric very highly for any electrical work that you may need. He has done 3 jobs for me at my home and each time has been great. Juan is responsive, prompt, knowledgeable, experienced, easy to interact with, efficient, careful and economical. The most recent job involved an expensive light fixture that worked only intermittently. Two other electricians misdiagnosed the problem (including Gentec who charged me a ridiculous amount of money from their standard menu to "troubleshoot or diagnose" the problem, didn’t fix it and got it wrong). Juan took one look at it, found the short and fixed it within 30 minutes. I know he does big jobs and small ones for both commercial and residential clients. He is now my go-to electrician.

We called Juan for an electrical panel issue. We then asked him to compete various other electrical work. He is honest, kind, and cares about the work he does for his customers! We would recommend him to our friends and family, and we will call him for any electrical needs we have in the future!
