I needed an electrician to install a transfer switch for my generator. James came out personally to make sure that ABR understood the scope of the project before giving me a quote which was very reasonable. Communication from the beginning to the end of the project was great. The final installation was executed quickly and perfectly. I am very pleased with the quality of work Jason provided.

ABR recently diagnosed an issue that required replacing an outdoor GFCI outlet. Communication was excellent from start to finish. Friendly office staff and technician both notified me that the tech would arrive earlier than scheduled, which worked great for me. Work was completed quickly and site was cleaned up afterwards. Electrical work can be pricey but ABR provides top-notch work at a more-than-reasonable price. Highly recommend ABR Electric!

My overall experience with ABR Electric was outstanding from start to finish. They called ahead to confirm our appointment, and the electrician who arrived was incredibly friendly and professional. I hired them to install a home EV charger, and their communication was crystal clear throughout the entire process. What truly set them apart was their commitment to safety. After contacting four other electricians, ABR was the only one who not only was willing but actually encouraged pulling a permit and having the work properly inspected. They explained the importance of this step clearly. For me, this was the most critical factor. While it added a small amount to the overall cost, that price is insignificant compared to the peace of mind I now have, knowing the installation was done to code. After the work was completed, they cleaned up the area meticulously, leaving it exactly as they found it. ABR Electric understands that cutting corners isn't an option, and their professionalism shines through in every aspect of their work. I wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone needing electrical services!

Have had major issues with our panel each time we charged our car at home, for a month different electricians and even the power company came out, ran every test, no one could figure out the issues. I got in touch with ABR, Jason came out, found the issue in about 15 minutes and fixed it. I cannot recommend these guys enough. May be the very best and most skillful group of electricians in the Dallas area. I cannot recommend Jason enough.

I took the Texas RAIL workshop offered by James and I must say it was a great experience. James is an excellent teacher and the reason I passed the exam on my first try. He went above and beyond even after the workshop in answering any and all my questions and provided resources which really helped me in my prep. I highly recommend anyone looking to obtain their rail license to contact abrelectric and take the workshop.

Had ABR do an outdoor light install. Had it scheduled and Wendii called the afternoon before to see if I wanted to move my appointment a day early since they had an electrician in the area who had time at the moment. Agreed and almost immediately Jason Hensley sent me a text that he was on his way with an ETA. Great communication from ABR and Jason. The install went perfectly and Jason was friendly. I didn't feel like I was just funding a job. Jason took time to answer questions, explain, and even shared in some small talk... all while sweating in the humidity and sun. Cleaned as he went and made sure to double check he picked up everything at the end. Price was reasonable for professional work. It was a simple job that I considered tackling myself, but I hadn't done a light install in years and there was definitely a peace of mind having a professional do it correctly. I always feel despite it being a simple job for them, it would have taken me 4x the time and I would still have had doubts if I did it right. ABR electric is family owned and this is the second time I've hired them. The first time, I met the owner and he did the work himself. It was very evident that he takes pride in the company, his employees and making sure they are well trained, and they only offer quality work. I would not hesitate to recommend them or use them again if I had another job that needed to be done.
