Our house is over 100 years old and has some funky wiring that gave out in half the kitchen on Thanksgiving. After calling a couple electricians the next day and only getting voice mail messages, I connected with Gary who was in the middle of a job but said he might be able to fit our job in before the end of the day. Lucky for us, his previous appointment canceled and even though it was already 4:30p on a Friday when he got to our house, he stayed the 3+ hours needed to identify and fix the issue. I would highly recommend Gary. He was very knowledgable and didn't give up on a difficult job. He also quoted us a fair price up-front, and then didn't charge the regular over-time fee. I called spark electric at 5pm and spoke with Gary. He was very helpful in walking me through on how to trouble shoot my electrical issue since it is December with 4 kids and we had no heat. He said he was driving and couldn't stay on the phone but to call him back in an hour if the issue wasn't resolved. When I called Gary at 6pm he was awesome. He had a few other appointments the next day but promised to fit me in and said he will call me no later than lunch time to let me know when he could help. The following morning I got a call from Gary at 10am saying he was on his way. He arrived and quickly assessed our situation and gave me a quote for the repairs. He then went above and beyond and fixed an electrical outlet issue and fixed the main line that needed replacing! He also checked the electrical situation for this old house that has spent the last 50 years being neglected and was very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to tell me what else needs to be fixed and approximately how much that will cost. I was a little nervous because of the other reviews on Google but I really can't say enough good things and I'm glad we called him! And I will definitely be calling Gary with any issues we have in the future!!

We had some electrical problems installing a range hood and called Sparks for a service call. He helped us out over the phone, no charge. Very knowledgeable, intelligent and helpful. We are so appreciative! Will definitely call them again if we need service. Thank you so much!

Gary's experience is greatly appreciated when a problem occurs in my old, previously handy man worked on house. He has seen many situations and takes the necessary steps to solve difficult matters in a timely, efficient manner. An honest man, who a number of times suggested not doing a fix when it wasn't needed, or finding a simpler, more economical way to resolve the issue. Finally, when he does a job, he does it right, according to the book. I know my house is a little safer after he completes a job. Also know the inspector will give the thumbs up after Gary completes the task. Completely trustworthy.

If I can give this company a -100 I would! I highly suggest that consumers stay far away from this company. Garry Stankiewicz, was absolutely the worst person that I’ve encountered within my years of business. He was very unprofessional and carried poor values. He does not know how to work with diverse demographics. He was very rude and disrespectful. He was lazy and strongly negative. Please, find a company that holds better quality, values and that can work with all demographics. Save yourself the stress and headache ahead of time.

Gary came to my home because a storm knocked part of my electric out. I already had a loose broke circuit breaker. Lights didn't come on in bathroom, kitchen and some of the electrical outlets. Gary changed the circuit breaker and put another circuit breaker in were wires had been doubled on 2 other breakers. Lights still did not come on nor was power restored to outlets. Gary began talking about ripping out bathroom wall and drilling holes in my floor. I told him no. He then proceeded to ask were the meters are at. When taken outside Gary said the meter boxes were too low and needed to be higher. To move the meters up it would cost 2700. The meters had nothing to do with the problem Gary was stalling for time. He then proceed to come back in the house and tell me he would fix the ceiling fan in the kitchen for 500 dollars. Mind him the fan only need the clicker switch changed for the lights. I told him no thanks. Gary then went back down stairs and came back up and told me he would come back in a week on a cooler day. Mind him my house was freezing from the air conditioning and my son asked if I could turn the air down. Appalling and very unprofessional. Gary then tells me he'll need my husband to help him run wire from the bathroom light to basement the job would run about 1200 dollars. Gary did nothing but install 2 circuit breakers the whole time he was there. When asked what am I supposed to do about electricity and lighting in kitchen and bathroom Gary told me to put lamps in there until he comes back a week later. Gary calls back a week later sets up the appointment and I clearly tell him to come at 10:30 am on the set date because I had another appointment and would not be out until 10 am. Gary shows up at 9:50 am and proceeds to text me as to why I didn't call him to cancel because I had the work done by someone else. It was my intention to discuss with Gary the time he spent doing nothing but he decided to come out to my house when he wanted. Gary also switched the wires around to my exaust fan in the bathroom and told me he would switch it back when he comes back in a week. The fan now was off in the on position. The electrician that came in and fixed the problem was in and out of my home in less than 30 minutes and charged me 11x's less than Gary. When Gary comes out the 2nd time mind you this was his choice he mails me a bill and charges me an extra 75 dollars for him not coming out at the agreed upon time. Gary is a SCAMMER AND SHOULD NOT BE USED!!!!! VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS COMPANY THAT THEY WOULD ALLOW A WORKER TO DO THIS! !!!
