Worst experience ever! Their website is constantly down for system maintenance, which prevent you from paying online. If enrolled in Auto pay and card expires no courtesy call or text just penalized. Take your money but make you wait the next day for service because they do not do anything after 8pm. Can't pay online after 10-11pm. Services are way higher than others.

This predatory company cut my power off for being 19 days overdue. This company is trash. That’s what you get when you deal with a monopoly. If you have another option in your area don’t use Dixie electric.

Yet again if it rains your power is going out I am over 50 and I have never had a power company this bad. I've had them 7 months and have had more outages than any other power company in my life. Ridiculous what a joke why can't we have a choice of alabama power or dixie power oh they would go our of business. And yall are high as hell I realize they buy power from alabama power. Why can't we buy from the true source?count the outages from any of your other providers you had. I bet it's not like this company

Kyle did an amazing job very informative and knowledgeable of his job and helping us understand the problem and also fixed it in a timely manner very impressed will definitely use Kyle along with dixie electric again in the future

Account Balance went from $36 to -17$ over a one day period. I live in an apartment that consumes $2-$5 on a daily basis. Dixie electric sent messages threatening to cut off my power stating i have a negative balance. I called in to discuss the matter and was notified Dixie Electric made a clerical error which cause my account balance to change so drastically. So, I (the customer) had to reach out to learn about the mistake Dixie Electric made. They did not reach to me admitting to the mistake. I was assured my power would not be cut off since it was their fault and i needed at least a day to review the evidence provided to me. THEY CUT MY POWER OFF ANYWAYS and NOW STATE I OWE EXTRA money. The customer service level is very low. After paying the fees and being told the power would be on in 10-15min, the power was never turned back on. It has been an hour and the power is not on. I would highly recommend using another power company if possible. This business is a joke.

I wrote a very good review regarding services I received from Dixie's inspection team; consisting of HVAC/ELECTRICAL/PLUMBING. Each of the technicians had coordinated with American Home Shield (my home warranty protectors) for work orders. After thinking all was a go, I was told that I'd have to pay, or use their finance system, TO BE REIMBURS- ED by AHS!!!.......This is not great business practices. There's a lil' taste of vinegar in my mouth...I am skeptical of Dixie at this point!!!!!

I have two major issues with Dixie Electric in south Montgomery County. 1] Service has gotten so unreliable we had to spend a boatload of money to install a whole house generator. Often the power would go out on a clear, blue sky day with no wind. 2] A Dixie Electric right of way maintenance crew knocked down and drove over the fence to get to their ROW. This happened just recently. The unbelievable thing is that there is gate access to the line and the gate has a Dixie Electric lock on it. The finished the work and did not even bother to repair the fence. And this is a fence that keeps our livestock in. Shame on Dixie Electric for damaging our fence and then not repairing it immediately.
