Five Stars is Not Enough! Truly Exceptional Service from Scott at Shomberg Electric We recently hired Shomberg Electric for a massive project: rewiring our entire home. This was not a small job; it was a full, down-to-the-studs electrical overhaul, and we were bracing ourselves for the typical construction industry headaches. However, working with Scott completely changed our perspective on contracting work. From the very beginning, Scott was a true professional. He was incredibly nice and helpful in the planning stages, guiding us through the complexities of wiring an older home and ensuring we had everything we needed for a modern, reliable system. His expertise was invaluable. What truly sets Shomberg Electric apart is Scott's unmatched responsiveness. In the world of construction, it is almost unheard of to have a contractor who is so easy to get a hold of. Scott was always prompt in returning calls and answering questions, which made a stressful, large-scale project feel manageable and transparent. Beyond great communication, Scott is extremely trustworthy. I’ve dealt with far too many situations where contractors take the money and either disappear before completion or become impossible to reach after the final payment. Scott was the exact opposite. After the entire, large project was completely finished and signed off, I was the one who practically had to beg him to come and receive the final payment. This level of integrity and commitment to finishing the job before demanding payment is truly unheard of in the industry, and it speaks volumes about his character. Furthermore, we’ve even had a couple of emergencies since the primary installation, and Scott was able to fix the issues promptly and without fuss. It’s clear that he stands by his work long after the invoice is settled. In addition to the incredible service and integrity, his prices were very fair. If you need electrical work—especially a large, complex project—I would wholeheartedly and highly recommend Scott and Shomberg Electric. They deliver great service, fair prices, and an unheard-of level of honesty and reliability.

I reached out to Scott to do some work prior to a central air install . Scott was very responsive and price was great. Will be reaching out again to have some other things done. After a bad experience with another electrical company i feel confident to use Scot again and have more work done! Highly recommend

one of the most important things when buying a newly constructed home is the electrical aspect. our home was so well thought out electrically....plenty of recessed lighting, tons of ceiling lights in the basement (very important so no bugs can hide from you....LOL!) plenty of wall outlets so you can vacuum easily.....even recessed lights on the ceiling of the front porch so people can exit your home safely in the dark. Scott plans out a home as if he were living in it. I cannot thank him enough for being so proactive when doing the electrical in our home. Needless to say we are hiring him out to do a generator and many other projects. Thank you Scott!!!! I would not hire anyone else!

Scott and company were referred to us by a good friend when we were without heat (long story but we had a main line down) Scott reached out to us immediately that day and was able to get a tech out there within hours for our emergency. They were able to get a temporary fix (replaced the main breaker) to get heat back while we discussed a permanent solution. Scott had a gameplan and quote in 2 days and permits, parts and work in a week. His prices were fair and work was done professionally. We’ll continue to use this company moving forward and recommend them to friends.

Scott was great and cut to the chase. He fixed the issue and explained what he was doing and what needed to be done to resolve my major electrical issue (that could have burned my house down) without wasting time. Will be using Schomber electric going forward.
