I have called Gault Electric multiple times in the past for repair and install work and have never been disappointed. Recently, my home was starting to have some electrical problems that indicated we had a potential fire hazard on our hands. When I called the office, Rhonda realized the dangerous situation we had and expedited all permits and scheduling needs quickly. She is caring and compassionate, and worked with Dominion Power and Gault's schedule to provide the fastest service possible; I am beyond thankful. To do the work, she scheduled two of the nicest gentleman I've had the pleasure of meeting: Johnny and Chase. They just finished this challenging two-day job, and I couldn't be more impressed. My older house posed some challenges for the required upgrades, but they were able to troubleshoot every difficulty they faced. Their work was clean and impeccable. They obviously enjoy their work and were such a pleasure to have in my home. They were also kind, thoughtful, and respectful beyond anything required by their job (when going to get supplies, Johnny offered to bring me back some lunch since I was without power, and while I was trying to read in the fading light, Chase brought me one of his flashlights so I wouldn't strain my eyes). They explained every part of the process to me, and Johnny walked me through all of the changes and new devices once they were finished. They even moved a big bookcase back into place for me! I cannot recommend this company highly enough. Johnny said that when the technicians are out in the field, they want to represent the company so that it will be in business for another 30 years. With hardworking, skillful and compassionate employees like Rhonda, Johnny, and Chase, Gault will have no problem doing just that! Thank you for your phenomenal service!

Gabe came out to check a ceiling fan issue at my home, and I was so impressed with his professionalism and thoroughness. He was polite, incredibly knowledgeable, and very methodical in his troubleshooting. He was also very patient and showed flexibility in navigating my small condo with a large ladder and taking great care of being mindful of my belongings. He started with the wall switch, then checking the fixture, wiring, and finally the receiver, which turned out to be the issue. He clearly explained each step, made safety a priority, and never rushed the process. He also documented everything carefully, gave me an estimate right away, and followed up promptly. His calm, thoughtful approach and excellent communication are qualities I usually see in seasoned professionals, not a younger person. He’s a real asset to the company and shows leadership potential already.

I had an outstanding experience with Gault when my hot water tank started leaking. Their staff and technician responded immediately and replaced the tank the same day. They went the extra mile by removing the old tank, picking up the new one I had purchased, and thoroughly cleaning up all the debris afterward. The service was fast, professional, and incredibly courteous. It’s rare to find a company so dedicated to both quality work and customer care — I highly recommend Gault for their exceptional service and reliability!

I’m so pleased with the work done by Gault today on my HVAC system. The techs that came out were very kind and explained the issues and how they were going to fix it thoroughly. They even wore shoe covers when inside my house, which I thought was a very nice touch, as most contractors don’t care. The pricing was very transparent, and they showed me everything they were adding to the invoice so you know there weren’t any hidden fees. They let me make some calls and weren’t pushy about services, which was much appreciated. I’m looking forward to having them back in the spring to reevaluate my systems!

Connor and his partner worked two days on identifying and rebuilding the natural gas piping from the meter to my generator due to several leaks and parts past their time capacity. They represented Gault with exceptional professionalism, and skill. They were personable and respectful. Different decisions had to be made during the course of their job and they consulted with me in each of those situations. Deferring to their expertise I let them make the decisions that they felt were the best. As I watched them work periodically, I was extremely pleased with the fact that they took great pride in the work that they did and did not cut any corners for any reason, even though they worked even in the dark to complete the task. I have used Gault for a number of decades and have never been disappointed. These two gentlemen are the tip of the spear for people doing this type of work because they take pride in their efforts….. Nate and his assistant were top notch. They were installing an out door light in my backyard. Very patient with the project and fixed additional items that had not been previously discussed. They communicated prior to arrival and checked in with us while completing the project to see if this what we had in mind. The finished project looks great! I would highly recommend them both. Prior to the install, I worked with Rhonda who was fabulous with putting paper to the vision we described. She also communicated very well and keep us informed at each step. Thanks Gault Electric!
