Nu-Trend EV and Electrical Services

I had a great experience with Nu-Trend EV and Electrical Services. Alberto and Joe handled a challenging EV charger installation in my garage, running the electrical from the opposite side of the house. I knew it wouldn't be simple, but they were up for the task and completed the work efficiently. They were professional, clean, and meticulous. They also communicated clearly every step of the way, explaining their plan and answering all of my questions. I definitely recommend them for any electrical work. Alberto, in particular, was excellent throughout the entire project-be sure to ask for him!

Have nothing but great things to say about Nu-Trend. I called them to install a home EV charger and Paul was patient and helpful in advising of the options as well as fully handling all the Comed rebate steps for me. I later had an electric emergency and Paul and Ruben acted quickly to diagnose the issue and recommend the appropriate services at a very reasonable price and got the work done quickly with quality work. I will be considering them for every future electrical need is have.

I am not surprised that all the reviews are 5 star. Paul and his folks at Nu-Trend EV were the installers for the ChargePoint Home Flex Charger I bought for my new EV. From the very beginning I had nothing but problems with the charger and wasn't sure if the problem was installation, the charger itself or my car. His electricians were right on the spot to troubleshoot. Over numerous visits, including the installation of two new chargers, for which he never charged, we verified the problem was my vehicle's inability to handle the voltage supplied by ComEd and Jaguar recommended installation of a buck/boost transformer. Paul took care of everything and ultimately, we were successful, and I now have a working charger. I have to clarify that none of the problems were Paul's fault, but he served as point person to ultimately get everything done. I would most highly recommend Nu-Trend to anyone for their electrical needs. A special thanks to Ruben and Dave for their professional help!

Paul was very good and responsive regarding my EV charger installation project. He provided me with different options as my circuit breaker was maxed out. I would recommend Nu-trend. Also I would like to recognize Alberto Nava who installed the subpanel and the EV charger installation project. He was very professional, organized and responsive. Alberto completed the installation within one day, helped me setup the charger on my app, etc. He is hardworking and very professional. You want to request him for any of your projects.

Alberto and Blake from NuTrend were awesome! They showed up on time, worked constantly and professionally, knew what they were doing, were polite and knowledgeable, always smiled, sucessfully installed and safely energized my EV charger (Emporia Pro), and then cleaned up and removed any work-related debris before leaving my home. The city inspector certified and permitted my EV charger installation the following day. Alberto and Blake from NuTrend did a great job and passed the EV installation test with flying colors!

Qmerit set me up with Nu-Trend and I couldn't be happier with their work. They were incredibly responsive and had great communication all the way from scheduling the first visit for a quote through the install and follow up with the inspection. The installers were great! They were friendly, punctual, quick, thorough, and cleaned up after themselves while installing the breaker, charger, and a cable run of about 40'. I would absolutely hire them again for electrical work.
