Our project was an extensive renovation of a 75-year-old shotgun double. The guys at DuCar saw the aesthetic potential in the original cypress siding and rafter tails that were hiding under ugly ‘70’s-vintage vinyl. Instead of encouraging us to cut corners, DuCar’s thorough approach uncovered and dealt with the inevitable "surprises" in such a project. We are very happy with the result — the process was enjoyable and we know that all the work was done the right way.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with DuCar on a few different residential projects over the last 10-12 years, and I’ve always been extremely satisfied with the results. CJ and Angel are amazing! They’re extremely detailed, and the communication is always on point. They’re knowledgeable, and have a knack for anticipating the challenges that tend to arise. And when challenges and problems do reveal themselves, CJ and Angel are quick to offer solutions for me to consider – as well as any cost implications. This gives me the trusted knowledge I need to make informed decisions about my project…both in the planning stage, as well as through the life of the project. And while mistakes will always be inevitable in any line of work, the manner in which those mistakes are addressed is where DuCar really shines. I’ve always been happy with the finished product that DuCar delivers, and I’ve enjoyed the way they’ve guided me through the process of getting there. 5 stars!

From the moment we met CJ and Angel we knew we made the right choice to work with DuCar Construction. We bought a renovated double shotgun in MidCity and quickly realized it needed a lot of TLC. The team at DuCar has been open, honest, transparent, and sincerely decent human beings throughout each step of the process. Their prices are more than fair for the extreme attention to detail and care they put into their work. The entire scope of work to rehabilitate our front porch has been phenomenal. From the structural to the aesthetic they have left no stone unturned, and our house has had a major facelift that compels even total strangers to comment on when they walk by. They are prompt in answering questions and listened patiently to all our concerns. We have been blown away by their kind and approachable demeanors and will choose to work with them for all our future construction projects (which are many!!). Highly, highly recommend.

CJ and his team were a dream to work with on our cabana project. Communication was consistently great, we knew what to expect every step of the way. Work was completed incredibly fast and the finished product exceeded expectations. We expanded the scope of the project and his team was able to accommodate all of our requests seamlessly. Would definitely recommend this team & we look forward to working with them on additional projects in the future.

My Wife and I purchased a beautiful new construction home built by them and absolutely loved it. They offered any support we needed after purchasing and were always quick to answer the phone if we needed anything at all. If we had any questions or needed help with anything at all CJ was always quick to step in and never once made us feel like we were bothering him.
