Very overpriced and unprofessional. Will quote you 20k when the house is within tolerance. Go to GL Hunt for a fair and honest price, they also won’t suggest you fix what isn’t broken. This company is fraudulent.

I’d give 0 stars to this company if I could, I am in the process of selling my home and we had a potential buyer that was interested in my property. The buyer had this company come out to take measurements as they had some concerns and the findings were appalling, not to mention dead wrong. My wife and I were informed by this companies "president" that our home had shifted to one side and was structurally unsound, and of course that to fix these issues would cost anywhere from $30,000- $40,000 for repairs. We were shocked to say the least as there were no cracks in, or outside the home, no feeling of walking downhill, no doors sticking well you get the picture. So to do our due diligence we called out structural engineers to assess the issues and of course to have an unbiased opinion. The findings were just as shocking, NO STRUCTURAL ISSUES AT ALL. No crazy slope, no crazy expensive repairs needed, none of what we had been told was accurate. Moral of the story, ALWAYS call an engineer first before a foundation company!!!

**Key Takeaways** - Expert Knowledge - Went the extra mile - Offers payment options Chad Gregson and his team know their stuff. As a new home owner in NBTX we received 2 quotes for foundation repair. Chad highly recommended we go with the "lift" instead just "stabilize" even though it cost more, explaining that other newer companies offer the lowest price to get you to buy their services BUT leave you with having to redo the ALL the work less than 10 years later. The crew even went above and beyond filling in some of the interior cracks caused by the shifting foundation and added additional dirt to some areas that desperately needed it. The exterior was well cleaned and worn was done quickly with daily progress updates. Special thanks to Patty, Aby, and Lori in the office , great communication and made scheduling & paperwork a breeze.

I would give negative stars if I could. This company is the biggest scam. Potential buyers of my home recently got them to come out to inspect the foundation mainly because of a crack in the brick that was noticed by the home inspector. A guy named Chad came out, didn’t even mention the crack initially until the buyers did, and said it was nothing to worry about. Foundation doesn’t even have any cracks. The house has shifted some, but only a couple inches in almost 10 years, which is well within recommended standards (which is what Chad also said). I heard nothing to indicate anything wrong with the foundation. But he added that "you never know" and quoted a $65k job to "fix" it. Fix what? He even said it was a solid house. Wouldn’t unnecessary digging around a foundation potentially make an issue when there isn’t one to begin with? What a scam! Saw right through this jerk! Don’t hire this company if you do need repairs. At the very least get a second opinion. According to another review, they do not quote fair prices anyway. Update: In answer to owner’s response, it’s a scam to offer or recommend service when there is no issue. As the home owner, I’m not going to shell out tens of thousands of dollars on a phantom problem. The house is solid. Shame on your company for putting doubt in people’s head. Thank God my mom was there to hear it first hand. How do I know the buyers aren’t trying to skim off of the asking price? Even if I were to stay in the house, your "assessment" didn’t scare me into unnecessary repairs. I’m happy in the house as is. Also, saying the job could come to about $70k but then saying your company could do the job for $65k (as if you’re doing us a favor) is as good as a quote. If anyone is still considering this company, just know that the independent structural engineer who came out the next day to inspect (and found nothing wrong with the foundation) did not recommend going with this company.

I appreciate Alamo Hy-Tech Foundation Repair’s honest business practices. I had a minor panic attack when I found a crack in the brick veneer of our older home. Alamo came out and checked all the levels in our home, and gave it a clean bill of health. It was such a relief to work with a company that did not try to upsell me, or convince me to get extensive repairs that my home did not need. Thank you Alamo!

If I could give them no stars I would! We had our foundation repaired previously by them. They claim to have a lifetime warranty on their work which is a lie! They came out and said I needed several Pilar’s redone and to level the rest of my house , bringing it up saying it would be $37,000 and that it would cost me to repair the previous Pilar’s even though I had a lifetime warranty. I had several different companies come out after them to see what I needed for repair. I even tried to contact Alamo and suggest repairing certain Pilar’s or half of my house as the previous Pilar’s were too high per the other companies. They even said the other companies were wrong and they needed to be present when they came to inspect. I even was quoted half the price by another company. When the other company started repairs, several Pilar’s weren’t even standing straight up and had no purpose under my house so no wonder my foundation was failing. Thank goodness I went with someone else!

I at times am required to order estimates and or work due to my job. When it comes to a professional honest opinion you can trust, these are my go to guys. No fluff, just truth. With so many other companies out there just trying to make a buck, it is important to know that when I need a piece of advice that I can count on it. I recommend Alamo Hy-tech Foundation without reservation!
