BCI replaced all the doors and windows in our house. Each door and window close and latch with ease. Joey's workers were professional, clean, cheerful, and polite. Joey was the only one of five contractors I asked who could figure out how to fit my new front doors I had bought into the tight space. Then I gave his mason artistic license to redo our porch. I couldn't be happier and enjoy the beauty of BCI's craftsmanship every day.

Boonstra did an amazing job on our bathroom remodel. We could not be happier. Every day the workers showed up on time and ready to work. They held to the schedule and the budget we worked out was very fair. Jack was a great project lead and always addressed our concerns right away. Lorenzo, DJ, and Jr were all so great to work with as well. We would highly recommend them!

We've done extensive remodeling in our homes and this was by far the most pleasant, smooth, and easy experience so far. Boonstra Construction is organized, methodical, and great at communication and establishing a good working relationship with their clients. A project manager oversees the day to day tasks. He communicated at least twice a day with us, typically morning and late afternoon. It's nice to have a point person for questions, ideas, and set realistic goals for the day and week. The people they sent to work in our home were amazing and multitalented when it came to electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. We felt we had their very best employees and those employees let us know they wanted to exceed our expectations. I made an error where I wanted a light fixture located. When I realized my mistake, they were quick to fix it for me, even when it meant they weren't going to go home as early. No hesitation or push back at all. They just wanted me to be happy with their work. It is refreshing. The guys work fast, so it's best to order everything and have it ready to go when they show up. We are so impressed, we've moved up remodeling plans in another area in our house, as well as start on a second house. I also want to give them a big thank you for working my home so carefully and neatly. White glove service and five stars for sure!

Joey Boonstra is an exceptionally talented, hardworking, and reliable general contractor. I know you will find his workmanship, creativity, ability to communicate, and attention to detail support this 5 star rating. In 1998, Joey completed a large master suite addition for us. One of his really good ideas was to install an amazing barrel vaulted ceiling, which is a unique feature in a tract home. Joey quickly demonstrated a remarkable ability to describe and complete each element of the project. Before long, we learned to trust his judgement, timeliness, attention to detail, and the quality of his work. These attributes made the process much simpler, and we still enjoy the finished project! In 2003, Joey built a 4000 foot spec home for us. Again, he made a complex process very easy. The buyers still love the home and, because Joey was on budget, we made money on the project. In 2006, Joey also completely remodeled our kitchen. We love the design, functionality and still get compliments from friends and visitors. On Christmas Eve of 2015, we had a house full of guests, when the water heater failed. Joey dropped everything and installed a tankless water heater that afternoon, which saved our Christmas! Further, he’s helped many of my real estate clients through the years with house problems. In sum, Joey Boonstra is an amazing general contractor. I highly recommend you use him on your next project!

We hired Boonstra Contruction to build our new dental office at 4110 Oceanside Blvd. They had our 4000 square foot building and Tenant Improvements done in about 9 months from a dirt lot. The project was done perfectly and under the estimate. I would recommend them to anyone that is looking to build in the area and would be happy to show off our office to anyone that wants to come by to see the workmanship.

BCI was excellent to work with in building a pickleball court at our home in Vista. From the initial conversation on "Is our yard big enough?", to the opening day when the court was finished and ready to play on, BCI was alongside every step of the way. Scott Mortensen was always on top of every detail and communicated every day on the status, decisions, schedule, etc. Scott's diligence and cost conscious approach took the normal "STRESS" away and we ended up having a wonderful experience.
