We hired Alamo Remodel to fully demo and replace the old stucco of our 75 years old house. The entire demolition happened in two days. They repaired rotten woods, put insulation, water proofed it, and put new stucco on. Taish, Gerardo, and entire crew are great and very personable people to work with. A week after finishing the project, I asked them to come back and fix a few minor things that needed a little TLC and they did it happily. The price is very reasonable and they never push you or try to create a new project to increase the price. Highly recommended.
We had a great experience with Alamo Stucco!! We first got a quote from them over a year ago and then had to delay our project until 2022. When we finally decided to move forward this year, they were responsive, eager to help and provide us with great ideas to maximize our home improvements. We had a vision for our house that Alamo was able to help us bring to life. We had them put on a new roof for us as well as stucco for the entire house and some demo of the old fashioned wood trim on the front of our house. They added a beautiful pergola to the front of our house that we can't wait to grow flowers over!! They were fast and efficient, all of the crew was so nice and respectful. The owners were on site daily. Communication was great and we were shocked at how quickly the project was completed!! We are so in love with our new house exterior and have gotten so many compliments from neighbors. Thank you Taish and Gerardo and crew!
Can’t say enough great things about Taish and the crew from Alamo Stucco. A year ago or so they helped us with some stucco work on my house and did a great job. So when we were deciding to build an outdoor kitchen I thought I’d contact them to see if they could do the stucco on that project. After talking to Taish, I learned they could actually do the whole outdoor kitchen. Even more when he came over to discuss the outdoor kitchen we started talking about ideas I had to build a pergola as well. Not only could they build the pergola but Taish brought all sorts of new ideas to the table and came up with a design even better than what we had been imagining. I’ve posted some pics of the end result, which we couldn't be happier with. The Alamo crew handled the construction of both the pergola and outdoor kitchen from start to finish. My wife and I can be very particular about what we want and they were extremely accommodating throughout the entire process. The whole crew was professional and knowledgeable. I highly recommend working with them for any project you may have in mind. My wife and I are already discussing ideas for more projects they can help us with in the future.
Worked with Taish on adding stucco to our 1970’s MDF siding. He was very personable, addressed all my concerns, and had some great ideas for aesthetic improvements. Our house looked very dated and the trim would constantly need maintenance and paint. Alamo’s crew removed all the trim pieces, added the vapor barrier, chicken wire, and three coats over the next few weeks. They have been doing this type of work for a very long time and it shows. Their quote was very reasonable considering some of other estimates were way out of our price range. I had a few things that needed a little TLC but no major issues. We have been getting a ton of compliments since we finished the upgrade. Also noticed a huge difference in street noise which was a nice surprise. Thanks for everything, Alamo!
Alamo Stucco did a PERFECT job of replacing the damaged stucco below two replacement windows during a windows and glass sliders replacement project at my condo. The board mandated the new construction window installation methodology for these two windows as the board claimed that the old windows leaked rain water, causing the stucco damage. Upon stucco removal, it became obvious that the damage was due to over irrigation of the lawn. The chicken wire had rusted away, the underlying black paper and flashing was full of holes, the pink insulation was gray in color, which suggested the presence of black mold. Additional stucco was removed until "good" paper was revealed. New insulation, paper, flashing, chicken wire were then installed and treatment for termites and mold was completed before new stucco was applied. The texture and paint color was perfectly matched to the existing upper areas of both walls! Andres and Sergio are 5 star rated employees, as they suggested the correct work to be completed for a proper repair job. The photos show the PERFECT stucco repair job! I'm very pleased! Aug. 18, 2020 I've downgraded Alamo's rating to 4.5 from 5. I was hoping to obtain a statement from the company stating that the stucco damage was due to sustained wetting from the association's irrigation system. They took many photos as documentation to support a statement. I'm disappointed. The stucco repair was 5 star rated.
Can’t speak to the quality of their work, but they have parties at this location about every six months, with very loud, amplified music late into the night. They have often gone until 3 or 4 AM, only turning the music down when the police show up, and then turning it back up again after the police leave. This has gone on for years. It’s incredibly disrespectful to the neighbors, and for families with children and babies, it makes sleeping next to impossible. Having a party every now and then is great. Loud music can be fun—even in a residential neighborhood—so long as it stops by 9 or 10 PM. Blasting amplified music for the entire block to hear (and feel) until 4 AM every 6 months is so deeply inconsiderate that I would never give this company my business. They might be absolute professionals on the job, but I think how you conduct yourself in general reflects on how you conduct yourself in business.
Gerardo Magallanes and his Alamo Remodel team took an initial look at our 37 year old house and its 1981 design and almost immediately knew what to do. The subsequent removal of the outdated boxes above and below the windows, which was the desired effect in the 1980s; the rework of the stucco; the new architectural foam borders around the windows; the corbels above the garage door; the ledger stone on the corners of the garage and front entry posts; and the nicely coordinated cinnamon colored stucco and light cream colored trim transformed our home into an updated 21st century look that would qualify for the front cover of Home & Garden Magazine. We could not be more pleased with the results, the attention to detail, and the professionalism of the entire Alamo team, as illustrated in the attached before and after photos. With much gratitude, Carl & Susan Mann
