Basement Waterproofing Solutions crew just finished contracted work to the foundation and sill plate in the rear portion of our home. I was there the whole time watching their work. Construction was above standard, completed on time. Workers were polite, clean and meticulous with construction. I look forward to not having a leak problem in the future in my basement. The gentlemen who came to assess the damage was very thorough, he even went out of his way to cutsheet rock to look behind the wall and explain the entire process! I was put on the schedule super quick, 5 days after his visit. The crew came in and knocked out this job in 1 day, installing 2 French drains, a pump and a window well drain. Huge shout out to James and his crew for doing a spectacular job. After the job was done, they cleaned up and did not leave any trash behind. My husband and I were really taken advantage of by a builder who neglected to put any waterproofing solutions in our basement and as a result, we experienced the beginning of water damage in our fully-finished basement whenever it would rain heavily. When we met with Steve, he demonstrated empathy and transparency and never once pressured us unlike how many other basement professionals do. When Basement Waterproofing arrived to install our sump pumps, I was at work while my husband was home, and the texts that he sent updating me about the process throughout the day made me feel at ease. My husband reported that all the workers were very nice, professional, and neat. One worker even went to Home Depot to get a better drain top for our basement as ours usually got clogged. Due to the experience with our builder and subcontractors, my husband and I have sadly become jaded about contract work. Our experience with Basement Waterproofing, however, refreshingly restored our faith that good, honest, and decent people within contracting work DO exist. Basement Waterproofing Solutions just did a great job for me. They extended my French drain plus installed a much needed lolly column in my old unfinished cellar. Job took 2 days (concrete had to dry before lolly column could be installed). Both crews were terrific. Sal, Steve and Barbara were always there to answer my questions. I highly recommend them!

This company comes highly recommended from my personal experience. I live in Staten Island, they installed a French drain with a pump and pit in my basement right before the monster storm we just had in August. My neighbors had 2-4 feet of water, my basement was pretty much bone dry. The team was very professional and knowledgeable. They came in on a Monday and we’re done by lunch time on Wednesday.
