Leak Hounds Plumbing, Leak Detection & Repiping

We had this company come to detect a leak for us. They said it was one problem (the toilet’s wax ring needed to be replaced). The leak continued, but luckily we had construction done on the same bathroom and they found that the actual problem was a broken pipe. We contacted them about it since the work that was done didn’t fix the problem (sent pictures of the broken pipe) and they said there was nothing they could do because the broken pipe was a "secondary problem" regardless of the fact that the problem still persisted after they said they "fixed" the problem the first time. There was no accountability for their error. Won’t be using them again UPDATE: if you actually look at the reviews I have posted you can see I have written good ones, okay ones, as well as bad ones. You state that you want to be professional but that comment about past ratings was not. If I feel a company deserves a bad review I’ll write it so that I can notify people about my bad experience so that they can make an educated decision. As I told you over the phone we were not shown the impacts of the toilet flushing, which was probably our fault for taking the workers at their word. We know nothing about plumbing, so we hope that the people we are working with are honest with us. Our contractors that we hired had nothing to gain about telling us that you led us astray, which your initial diagnosis, which is why we’re going with what they said. If you don’t want to take accountability that’s ultimately up to you (not looking for a refund because you won’t do that, just to be held accountable). At the end of the day you lost a customer and we will tell everyone we know not to use you as well

Brent came within 3 hours of me calling to report our suspected leak. He was able to ascertain the location within a few minutes of arriving. He explained exactly what he was doing every step of the way. He was able to clearly show me where the leak was. He provided an estimate on the spot for two different repair options. I could not be more pleased with his professionalism. He even helped carry in packages that were on my front porch when he arrived. Way above and beyond for customer service!

The Customer Service from Leak Hounds is the BEST! After I called to schedule a visit for Leak Hounds to come by to detect a leak in my kitchen, I got a call back from Brent the owner. He had me describe to him all the the exact issues over the phone. He suggested we focus in on one specific area to try to identify the leak on our own in order to avoid his normal site visit costs. In fact - based on his direction - we found the leak and there was NO CHARGE. You really cannot beat that! This is the kind of business I greatly respect and recommend most highly.

I called them for a plumbing issue at our home because our water heater wasn’t working. They showed up quickly and had it repaired in about 30 minutes. Now everything’s working perfectly! They even shared some helpful plumbing tips with us.

Our new dishwasher wouldn’t drain. After a few YouTube tutorials and 3 floods, I finally gave up and called a plumber. They showed up, didn’t judge my DIY disaster, and fixed my plumbing problem in just 20 minutes. Polite, fast, and even cleaned up afterward.

Update 9/10/2025: Used again for re-piping the house. Appreciate the conference call to go over the process & the thoroughness in communicating with us. Would definitely recommend Leak Hounds for any plumbing work. Leak Hounds are great plumbers. They are reliably communicative & provided us video of the work they were doing since we weren't present.
